we'll see what the team is all about in the first 3 minutes of the 2nd half.
Yup...they always do that...ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS!!! No lead is safe for the Spurs unless they are up by 20 with less than a minute left...and even then, I'm still holding by breath.![]()

Sure, you can also draw a charge if the guy intentionally goes into you, but the way they call it these days is ridiculous. The emboldened bit is right - that's the way it was called in the 90s, but now the floppers and crafty guys get all the calls because they sell it better.
Go back to calling it the way it used to be called - these days it's more like a coin flip. You look at a play and think it's clearly going one way and it goes the other, then the next call you think is clearly the other way but they call the opposite.
Reallly what a ing thing to say. Don't you want us to win.
That won't happen, and that's the problem I have. The officiating hasn't been an advantage to the home team in the 1st two games although it hasn't been terrible. It's been slightly for the road team advantage so far and the next two games should be called as such because of this reason. But they won't.
That's how the lead went from 21 to 11.
Tim will take care of the business in the second half
I'm still hoping to see Steve Javie in Dallas. Wishful thinking, I know.
Tony Paker.
I'm glad Bonner at the very least showed up. With KT in early foul trouble he had to play, so I'm somewhat glad he hasn't gotten overly embarrassed yet, and he actually had the nads to take some shots.
We really need to polish our offense against the zone, and stop leaving Kidd open for 3 - he shot a 41% from 3 this year.
+ continuing hot shooting. If the shooting goes south, game over. They just don't get enough in the paint to weather cold shooting.
we put this away in the first 5 minutes. don't let up any momentum Spurs. c'mon!
Marcus Williams in a suit listening in to the huddle.
At this point, I don't think it matters. I was willing to chalk up game 1 to just one of those nights, but you don't have the exact same night twice in a row with a completely different crew.
Spurs lets get this game. I will be extremely dissapointed if the Mavs come back and win.
If the Spurs want to win this game, they need to come out gunning in the second half and jump all over the Mavs early...get the lead back up over 20 again.
Elliott is exactly right, we cannot come out flat it the first 5 minutes of the 2nd half. All the Mavs need is a few quick shots and this is a single digit game and they are right back in it.
Go Spurs Go!
Bruce starting the 3rd
At least it'll save me from having to set aside time to watch any more games.
again with the calls? bonner you need to smart up.
