Durant deserved it IMO, but Kobe is a good choice..I was disappointed in his performance in clutch time, I was hoping I would get to see the MAMBA, but he did set the tone early, with his effort in the 1st half, so it's a good choice..

Why Does LeBronze always pass up wide open shots at the end of games?? Chris Bosh for a three, come on sonnnnnnnnn. Eddie House shoots more last second shots then him & wade combined. Both him & Kobe put up a couple bad attempts at the end though.
Oh come on it's an ASG he is not a PG ...relax.
Lebron definitely does care about the ASG MVP, he was stat-padding pretty nicely, in the 4th..
Any player in the ASG that gets a significant amount of minutes, can score 30+ or get a triple double, tbh..
Durant deserves some credit for hitting some big shots but he only had 3 boards & 0 of them were offensive. Kobe had 10 offensive boards.
He passes those shots up most of the time. The few times he took the shots and actually made it, it's a SportsCenter highlight. Then his false legend grows...
Even the announcers were saying ...Lebron should not of passed a few of those late shots ...I am not saying he is not clutch ...he is. Just like Kobe can sometimes be too selfish ...Lebron sometimes is too unselfish.
Lebron was the most dominat player in the game ...but Kobe (along with Paul, Dwill and Manu early) and with help from Durant late ...Kobe was the MVP because he set the tone of teh game. Lebron did a great job of bringing his team back ...almost like AI the year he won ASG MVP ...
You'll be sucking him off soon enough.
Nothing wrong with wanting personal accolades. That's what's fueled some of the greatest individual players in the game for decades.

I was hunting for the gif of that clip from the other angle. The angle where he's right behind Wade is hilarious. It's like he couldn't keep his eyes off that trophy and I know Lebron thought he should have been MVP. He was gunning for it the whole game.

Well I don't think it would matter if Lebron were passing off to a bonafide 3 point shooter like Ray Allen. Who wouldn't give Ray Allen a wide open three? But when you're passing up a shot to give Chris Bosh a three? That ain't right. That's when the criticism is gonna come.
lol @ that guy in the crowd with a "Monta Ellis = Snubbed" tshirt...
agree, but his energy and passion was impressive.
LOL at KD saying we wanted to get Kobe 40 but the "old man" tired at the end ... LOL
Kobe is Obi-wan to these young cats ...
The reason Lebron passed is not because he's unselfish, but rather because he cannot shoot.
Period.
End of discussion.
He wasn't passing for a 3, but for CB to drive the ball. There was plenty of time left. Bosh didn't need a 3. Coming from a ty team (most of his career) he's not accustomed to knowing how to manage late game situations.
Baron, did you get to keep the car after last night's dunk contest?
My threads always do pretty good. I am not l337 though...
Did LeBron even hit any jumpshots tonight actually? It seems like all his points came from bulldozing to the rim on fast breaks haha. That is scary, imagine getting an elbow to the jaw by jumping in front of him when hes coming at you that fast.
That works during the AS game, no one wants to take a charge.
