I have lived on the East coast and currently live in LA. Boston is not a "world class city" and women from LA might be the least cultured of anywhere. That is all.
Makes sense. Wake me up on Friday, then.

Bonus question: the Spurs can easily sign him for the remainder of the season, fine. What can the Spurs offer him for the future?

Full mid level exception next year? He might be in for more than $5 million a year and who knows with the new CBA if its even an option. Perhaps Timmy opts out and restructures his deal.
800+ posts. Wow.![]()
I totally agree.
And having lived here in S.A. and most of those other places as well as having had the money and time to experience the niceties of all of them, there are just too many reasons I prefer to live here.
Only place that compares for me would be Santa Fe, N.M.
Exceptions decrease by 1/170th each day after January 10th so Spurs can't offer that much money.
I still think we are getting ahead of ourselves.
If he were coming here, I think the Spurs would already know about it by now.
If Brewer picks the Celtics over the Spurs, he's an idiot. Had they not acquired Green, I'd be saying the opposite. But with Green on board, barring injury, he's got no chance to crack their rotation and no chance at having a future on that team. With the Spurs, it's conceivable he could crack the rotation (I know what Pop said, but I can't imagine he wouldn't take a turn guarding Durant in the second round, if and when). Also, he could easily be a part of the future, as the Spurs don't have a true backup three, or a quality wing defender with size.
boston is great-unless you're black or hispanic.
MAke it ennnddddd
i think(hope) he is SA bound
i don't remember the last time a thread got this many replies and views on the forum. from 24 to 26k views in about an hour
Wait until Friday?I dunno if the servers will hold, Cap'n!
Potential defensive lineup of Hill/Gino/Brewer/Duncan/McDyess gives me a boner
Yezzer!
And all of us will finally have the long-awaited "Derrick McKey-type" SF, which Pop has mentioned several times in the past. A player of such ilk and length that it has taken on almost a mythical-like existence ...like Bigfoot.
OK. I just got back online. Any news one way or the other?
