Spurs Select Kyle Anderson in the 2014 NBA Draft (30th Overall)

Offensively, Kyle's about where most guys would have assumed he'd be in his second or third year. Defensively, he's far beyond what most people would have ever imagined.

I think he might have been too deferential and passive to begin with and he was going to have to put up a huge fight in this league to show he belonged.

He didn't show the required mentality until I saw it in the playoffs for the first time and I thought he turned a corner then and I am glad he didn't disappoint with that.

Normally, not a great fan of Pounding the Rock tweets bc whoever they have running their tweet account has a quirky humor that sometimes isn't all that funny, but I thought this was really hilarious:

Will be interesting to see how Pop finds room to play him once Kawhi returns..

Pau playing so well takes away the obvious spot he had next to LMA. Would think he's going to be the third big and sixth man with Gay coming in eighth as Kawhi's backup. But Kyle as a high-minute bench player along with Gay makes it hard to see a tenth man being a normal part of the rotation. There are only 240 minutes to go around.

Assuming everyone is healthy, I think more or less that will be what the rotation would look like at the end of the season. With Kyle and Rudy alterning closing time depending on who is doing better on the day.
