KC at NE
Pitt at Den
Sea at Caro
GB at Ariz
So we have....
Alex Smith
Tom Brady
Big Ben
Peyton Manning
Russell Wilson
Cam Newton
Aaron Rodgers
Carson Palmer
In the Russell Wilson era, the Seahawks have never lost to any team twice in a season.
Cam Newton is 1-4 vs the Seahawks.
Newton is 1-2 in the playoffs.
RW is 7-2.
Just the facts.
Anyone still think it's all about BEASTMODE..?

Check out Derrick Henry tonight, will that stride work at the NFL level? Does he have the quicks?
100 yards at least tonight.
Will play 110 to win 100 Bama -7.
How good is this?
What other QB could have pulled off that botched snap play, that was a ...wow!
You haters must feel funny when ya watch alll the talk shows and they go on and on about how great this guy is...huh?

Just made the call, I got a - 6.5.
II thought u were done posting here this season
Good luck. I hate betting on collegiate football. I can never really get a grasp. And then you have some games with 30+ point spreads![]()
Tomorrow at 8 EST on the NFL Network they are going to show that Packers vs Chefs game, the first pro football championship game, it wasn't called the Superbowl yet.
If you've never seen Jim Taylor or Otis Taylor play ya need to. Jim right there with Riggins as the best white back and Otis the first of the big fast physical receivers, a QB in college. And a good look at Mike Garrett the first of those USC tailbacks to win the Heisman.
Len Dawson the Chiefs QB a HOFER, as were fellow Chiefs Buck Buchanon and Bobbt Bell...the fastest LBer in the game. Their TE Fred Arbansas the best in AFL history.
The Packers had HOFers...Bart Starr, Jim Taylor, Forrest Gregg, Willie Davis, Ray Nitschke, Herb Adderley and Willie Wood.

Man...what a game...the Chefs were really cooking that year.
Yes they were, they crushed the Bills in the AFL Chanpionship game and scored 448 points in the reg season, the next best team 358.
What the AFL did that the NFL wasn't doing was zeroing in on HBCU/small school players.
Yep...and the Bill were money back then.
They had the great Cookie Gichrist*** (first 1000 yard rusher in the AFL) a 250 pound fullbak and the speedy Elbert "Golden Wheels" Dubenion out of tiny Blufton back then, and after Cookie left in came Billy Joe (formrer Bronco) another 250 pound fullback out of Villanova.
*** went straight from HS to the CFL, then after his contract was up there, the Bills.
IDK...before my time. Although I had a really cool book about pro football that had some great pics from that era. Probably read it and looked through it 100 times. Wish I still had it. Loved looking through sports books. Had a really cool one that talked about some of the great QB's up to that time. Had chapters on Namath, Stabler, Plunkett, etc. Short bios up though their NFL careers.
Also had a pencil set with each pencil having the name of an NFL team and the pencil being coated with that teams colors and the name in the other. For example, the Lions pencil was blue and the writing was silver. Wish I still had that also.
Trying to think of the name of that book...I think it was something like, "The Big Book of Pro Football". That ring any bells?
..I think this is it...but mine was a few years later. Had Stabler on the cover.

I knew that just took the opportunity to show off....ha~~~~ Play along.
I own The National Football League Encyclopedia, a big 545 page book starting back in 1920 up to 1985. Totally covers everything there is about pro football here in the USA, fantastic book. Found it at a yard sale, cost me a buck.
Not familiar with that book ya mentioned. But ya can never read enought about the game, it's cool to know all ya can.
Can we have footbal and all this concern over concussions? I have no doubts Antonio Brown would be playing vs Denver if not for the current state of things.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I don't see Derrick Henry doing much at the NFL level, there his size won't matter. and he is not quick or nifty at all. And he's really not all that fast either.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It looks like BEASTMODE will be back vs Carolina but, but can he be effective?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Carolina is 1-4 coming off a bye week with Rivers at the helm.
Tonight if ya watch Superbowl I (wasn;t called that then) you will see a guy you never knew existed.....Elijah Pitts number 22.
So who was the first AFLer to score a td vs an NFL team, RB Curtis McClinton a former Rookie of the Year.
The All Time AFL Offense.
QB Joe Namath Jets...HOF
FB Cookie Gilchrist Bills
RB Clem Daneils Raiders
FL Lance Alworth...HOF Chargers
SE Don Maynard...HOF Jets
TE Fred Arbansas Chiefs
C Jim Otto....HOF Raiders
G Ed Budde Chiefs
G Jim Tyrer Chiefs
T Ron Mix...HOF CHargers
T Billy Shaw Bills
I got the Seahawks, and will bet 30 days self bannishment on it. So where are these Carolina fans, ya got balls?
Line right now is Seattle +3. My brother is in Las Vegas right now, thinking of pulling the trigger on them and KC.
Another losing pick on 'Bama minus the points,,,,,lmao
But he picked the winner.
On the points he got screwed again, even while making a good call.
Gambling can be a ; liars like Avante can't admit this.
I got a 6 point teaser with KC, GB, and Seattle. KC bailed me out with that last TD. Looking good with Seattle +9 left.
