My hair is back to it's natural color (almost) for the first time in months, and yesterday my sweet, observant grandmother took the time to tell me she didn't like the new color choice.

My hair hadn't been its natural color in years until I decided to donate it and it couldn't be chemically processed. I'm not too crazy about my natural color but it's alright. I started finding my first grays when I started growing it out au natural though, and that kind of pissed me off.

I really like my natural color and had resisted the urge to do anything to it for years. Finally gave in and got hooked, of course.

I did find a few grays the other day that I'm trying to convince myself are just really, REALLY light blonde highlights. I'm too young for even one gray hair, dammit.
