There isn't really much of one. Went to the mall to try and knock out a few presents and to buy a few things I needed before I leave town tomorrow. It was busy. No me gusta.

Oh, and I failed to see the appeal of the Mall of America. It was a big-ass mall with a number of repeated stores (they had FIVE Lids and one Hat World, which are the same store and company).

I can tell you some stories about SAFD EMS....There are some good Paramedics SAFD EMS, but alot of them are jaded, burned out and just ing careless. I have seen a Paramedic use a pulse oximeter in the field to confirm asystole(cardiac arrest.) Protocol is that the cardiac monitor is to be placed on the fatality(unless it is VERY VERY OBVIUOS that they are "all dead") and confirm asystole in 3 leads. Some of those guys should not be allowed on the streets to provide care to anyone.

On tonight's news...The incident is being investigated. The Fire Chief stated that his Paramedics did what they were suppose to do... Triaged the patients accordinglly. I'll go with that...
My point of view is that they still should have confirmed death via cardiac monitor...They wouldn't have had the M.E. tell them the patient was still alive...that is just downright shameful.
