Are you in school?
There should be no space between the last period and what.
That's like the 5th pc I've tossed today... !
I'm in school, but not now. It's summer and I'm not a big enough school boy to pay for summer school.
and you ing broke the back and forth nature of this thing...meaning i win by default.
look it up...it's there somewheres
Nope...I don't see it.
Just admit that you are tired.
I RECKON I am tired, but that doesn't mean I'm going to sleep...besides, my dog just sneezed on my foot, that has to be good for like, at least another hour of awakedness.
I RECKON you won't last the hour.
Actually you are supposed to put a space before and after the 3 dots.
Ellipsis: For ellipsis use three dots, e.g. …
Leave a space before and after the three dots: E.g.: The object … is found. An ellipsis [ … ] proves to be a handy device when you're quoting material and you want to omit some words. The ellipsis consists of three evenly spaced dots (periods) with spaces between the ellipsis and surrounding letters or other marks. Let's take the sentence, "The ceremony honored twelve brilliant athletes from the Caribbean who were visiting the U.S." and leave out "from the Caribbean who were":
The ceremony honored twelve brilliant athletes … visiting the U.S.
I RECKON I've stayed up longer for stupider reasons...and that's a gaurantee.
So did we both get pwned there or just SB?
Both of you.![]()
shhhh ... if she stays away for 1 more minute ... I win.
You used it incorrectly anyway. That's not even a place you should use an ellipsis. You aren't leaving out any words of the sentence.
But if you do use it correctly someday, leave a space before and after the 3 dots.
I use it more to denote pause more than leaving out words for paraphrasing purposes.
Did you not just read what Kori posted ... a space between and after the three dots. It's guarantee. You are definitely feeling sleepy now.
Well you can use it for pause. But you still need the spaces.
The ellipsis can also be used to indicate a pause in the flow of a sentence and is especially useful in quoted speech:
Juan thought and thought … and then thought some more.
"I'm wondering …" Juan said, bemused.
I'm with jman.
Silvergrey does have horrid grammar.
Alright, enough of this horse . Deuce.
Howdy, it would appear that you took 6 minutes to reply to that. Thus, making me the victor. Thanks for playing.
So ... uhhhh ... do I get a spur for owning SB or what?![]()
6 minutes says I owned plenty. Nice job of having your own rule backfire.
You were wussing out an hour ago saying you were gonna pop No Doze.
ing damn it. I won on a technicality and you should go to sleep. I still am getting in the last word.

Go dream about catching a pop fly or something ... you know you want to.
You know that since you've continued, the game practically starts over.
Just go to bed and dream about "trying" to catch a pop fly or something.
I'm willing to bet that the total amount of sports I've played in my life is > than your age.
Damn...that Dr. Pepper was exceptionally tasty.
Soda is for the weak ... try drinking water. Nature's soda.
I do drink water. I wanted a Dr. Pepper now so I had one.
Dr. Pepper = caffeine = same crap that is in No Doze. Just admit that you're cheating and just go to bed. I bet it's soft. Am I right? soft and comfortable.
I was thirsty and my beverage of choice was a Dr. Pepper.
Yup! My bed is pretty soft and comfortable.
Then go lay down in it and close your eyes for just 30 seconds ... that's all I ask is 30 seconds.
I tell you what. I'll go lay down in my bed for a couple seconds while you go brush your teeth and wash up, yeah?
no ... if youre gonna lay down ... youre gonna go down for the count.
Then you lay down in your bed for a couple seconds and I'll go wash up, yeah?
hows about ... you go to sleep and call me the winner and i'll gladly fall asleep as well and dream about candy canes and sour patch kids or whatever.
