Who is Cunneater?..
I'm winning by 15.61 and he has Michael Bush remaining..battle of 2-1 teams..
Haha thanks for the Vernon Davis vs. Owen Daniels advice people of the boards! It wouldn't have mattered though as I'm getting eviscerated by 60pts with Michael Bush left to go...lol
Ryan Fitzpatrick I did a big trade - your thoughts: PPR League
I give: Ray Rice, Jermichael Finley & Nate Burleson
I get: MJD, CJ Spiller, Steve Smith & Witten
Well done, my man. On paper I think you destroyed him. You definitely got a #1WR, and an upgrade at TE as well. Ray Rice is the best player involved in the trade, but you got back two beast starting RB's. Baltimore's moving more and more to a pass-heavy offense, despite their superiority in the running game.
Ya done good.
So when I did that trade for RGIII I gave up Vincent Jackson which left me with only Nicks/Ogletree/Meacheam/Burleson. I still had Ray Rice/Ryan Matthews/Ridley/Donald Brown even though I gave up Steven Jackson as well in the RGIII trade. Nicks is beast when healthy so I am not that worried (maybe I should be) about him, but I definitely needed a better WR2.
I figured if I could get a #1 WR while not getting killed at RB by giving up Rice I would do it. CJ is a risk to me because Fred is back (how do you think that plays out btw?), but MJD is a damn solid replacement for Ray even without CJ. If CJ does well, then I look really good. I gave up Burleson who is not a huge deal and sured up my WR by getting Smith. Gave up Finley for Witten, but I have Bennett.
Now my team (assuming no veto):
QB: RGIII & Vick
RB: MJD, Ryan Mathews, CJ Spiller, Ridley, Donald Brown
WR: Nicks, Steve Smith, Ogletree, Meachum
TE: Bennett, Witten
K: Janikowski
DEF: Giants/Bills
The less Buffalo utilizes C.J., the worse they are (as evidenced yesterday). I believe he'll go back to getting 12-17 carries a game, along with plenty of looks in the passing game. Your team is crazy strong, and Ridley has been a pleasant surprise as well, eh?
Without looking at the other teams, I'd say health is your biggest foe.
Need some input on the ST league this coming week...I'm playing JT and have several iffy decisions:
RB: Spiller @SF, or Benson @Indy? Benson's been at a steady 15ppg pace the last 3 weeks, with only one TD, howevah. He continues to get more touches in the passing game though, and has become reliable in short yardage situations as well. Spiller is facing the best defense--fresh off a shut out.
TE: Celek @PIT, Chandler @SF, or Daniels @NYJ? Leaning toward Daniels here, tbh.
WR (need to start 3 of 4): Cruz vs CLE, Thomas @NEW, Brown vs Philly, Amendola vs AZ? Amendola has been good-to-great for me this year, and Hartline just went HAM on their secondary yesterday. I think Cruz and Thomas are automatic starts. As a sleeper, i also have Hankerson vs ATL. Hankerson has been getting beaucoup targets lately and is a homerun hitter--this also figures to be a shoot-out.
D/ST: PHI @PIT or ATL @WSH
Plenty of tough decisions, as you can see.
I guess the true test is the before and after:
Original Team:
QB: Vick
WR: Nicks, V. Jackson, us Young, Heyward-Bay, Moss
RB: Ray Rice, Steven Jackson, Fred Jackson, Donald Brown, Alfred Morris (off waivers)
TE: Finley, Bennett
K: Janikowski
DEF: Giants
New Team
QB: RGIII, Vick
WR: Nicks, Steve Smith, Ogletree, Meachum
RB: MJD, Ryan Matthews, CJ Spiller, Ridley, Donald Brown
TE: Bennett/Witten
K: Same
DEF: Same
I help you, you don't help me...smh
I don't think I wanna be your friend anymore.
My trade got vetoed (third different vetoed trade with 3 different managers).
I might be the new#1 when u factor the points in
you London Fletcher and Stevie johnson
All the undefeated teams went down
all the teams with no victories got wins
Finally. Probably the only one I'll get![]()
I still hate Norv Turner...even though Tom Brady would have kicked my fantasy squad's ass anyway
