Many will pin the blame on Harden and his customary late series meltdown, but the reality is Kawhi, outside of that game 2 explosion, is no longer reliable as the main 'offensive force' for an entire playoff series even against a mediocre defense like the Nuggets. And when you key on him, he is not the elite playmaker who would breakdown defenses with read-and-react sequences.

His comparatively low assist career-high/rates is testament to this. To give you an idea, Kawhi just matched Wemby's career high in assist (11), which still inferior to a rookie guard like Stephon Castle (14)

Knicks really ed up with that Bridges trade. Blew the load on a role player.
They'll probably beat the Pistons, but their goal was to be a serious contender. Celtics will take care of them with ease.
I expect Thibs to be gone, this is his ceiling. They'll probably also try to trade for another star wing.

Same with Cam Johnson, which is why I am just mystified as to why people want to trade multiple picks for him. These types of players look good on bad teams, once they go to a better team, they would appear to be a normal role player like they really are. *Cough* Vassell.

Where are the gots who say Jokic gets no help?
After one good game are we pretending that they've been playing well all this time?

I don’t think either PHO or BKN ever saw Cam Johnson as a guy to build around. The Knicks certainly saw Bridges that way, though.

I don’t want to trade multiple picks for Cam, but I’d be willing to trade one, plus a decent non core player.

Those POs are quite awesome tbh... some tough ball, ref lettings not blowing the whistles at every small contact, some drama, fights, bad blood, low scoring games. NBA was not orphan of stars, NBA was orphan of good basketball. The ratings are here to prove it.

Sorry, meant saying Vassell looked good when the team was terrible and starting to suck when the team is slightly better. Unless Vassell reinvents himself back into a 3 and D player, hed be a tank commander the rest of his career. But as a 3 and player; he is massively over paid at $27M a year. Should be been maybe a $15 to $18 M.

The Halliburton’s are some of the most annoying people in the NBA, but the rest of the Pacers squad I like. Giannis was mad as lol
How did the game end? I saw the Bucks lost by a point. That sucks for Giannis. Looks like he played his ass off.

im not sure if it ended this way, but for most of the season, the nuggets net rating with jokic on the floor was #1 in the NBA and their net rating with him off the floor was #30 in the NBA if thats what you're asking

playoff jamal popping off today tho
The whole 5280 concept by Denver is atrocious.
Makes a world of difference when Murray isn’t playing like a wash up
If this wakes Murray up this series is a wrap and the Nuggets/Thunder becomes a potential instant classic series imo.
I've said it before the playoffs, but I think Murray is a spectacular player when he's healthy and on. As I mentioned before, I just don't know if it's injuries, or if he lost a bit of his passion for basketball for a little bit (I thought maybe he was losing interest in basketball as I've seen videos of him hanging out with UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski for a while these past couple of years, and also training MMA a little bit as the two became pretty good friends. I even saw him walk out to the Octagon with Volk at least once - haven't seen him lately, though, so that is a good thing as far as basketball is concerned), but either way, I've seen him have some great performances/moments in the playoffs (this is why I've never am able to get off the wagon as most players go down in the playoffs and he seems to get better). I'm guessing health has played a bigger factor is him not being able to perform consistently. Curious what you guys think about it?

Yeah, I have actually enjoyed what I've watched. I've only watched some full games, but I have tried to watch most games on NBA League Pass with the All Possessions option if I can't watch the full game (I've usually had them playing in the background, but that is still way more playoff bball I've watched previous 3 or 4 years)

What do you mean people should stop ing about it. The All Star game still sucks and the tanking teams in the regular season don't make the product great at times.

I've just been watching the nationally televised Denver games, but that was the best I've seen Murray move all season. Good to know he's still got some left in the tank. He and Russ were very aggressive when Jokic was out and that's what the Nuggets need.

Hope we get some "taking care of business" game results tonight. These playoffs have certainly been entertaining. The full effects of the new CBA are yet to be seen, but early results are very interesting.

Damn, Rockettes putting up a show here.

As much as I dislike the team, I'll always respect the integrity to not give up without a fight. Still hope the Dubs turn it around, but what a half from H-town.
