I plan on going to the batting cages some time this week, though. My batting skills pretty much suck.
I would like to practice/scrimmage. If people need time off for health reasons, then thats pretty understandable too.
I don't know what days we could practice this week.
Wednesday is the draft and Thursday LJ has basketball. Perhaps on the weekend.
I know that we will probably go to the batting cages on our own one or two afternoons soon though.
I'm going to the batting cages too and I'll probably play catch with LJ/Kori/Whitney/my dad + buy a new glove on LJ's suggestion to try and improve from some dismal showings, but I need more individual work and constant repi ion than I do a practice.
Maybe LJ can refine some of my mechanics.
I'll be spending some quality time at the cages, too ... screw that grounding out crap.
so when is the next practice and game...I have a new work schedule now and would like to see you guys....

We're team #1 and we're in 1st place tied with 2 other teams, but still, we kick ass.
The team we play next week was the team that lost to the team we just beat. I like our chances.

We've played 2 games and won 8-1 and 12-2.
Yeah, but for me, what's the pointing of the team winning, if I'm not doing well individually.
2-0 is all fine and dandy for the team, but where does that get me when I'm batting .000?
I'm more than likely out for the season. (hamstring)
