It looks exactly like Starcraft with a new graphics engine ... sorry, but that's crap - especially coming from Blizzard.
You want to play a real RTS, try out Supreme Commander.

Yeah, play SupCom if you love watching blips on a huge radar screen move from one side of a humungous map to the other, encounter different colored blips, then both colors of blips start to decrease in number until only one color is left.
SupCom is a very unique game, no question. If by unique, you mean "TA fanboy-ish" or "theory vs execution" than I might agree.
SupCom tried something new and different, which shouldnt be discouraged. But to me, playing an RTS from Orbit level is about as enticing as foot surgery. And equally as entertaining.
Or you could *gasp* use it like it should ... you zoom in when the battle's going on, because those damn icon's don't nearly represent everything taking place.
Taking a quick glance at a Xbox 360 release list, some of the upcoming games I'm looking forward to (with 2007 release dates) are: Too Human, All-Pro Football 2K8, BioShock, Mass Effect, Burnout Paradise, Turok, Assassin's Creed, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Grand Theft Auto IV, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, Beautiful Katamari, Alan Wake, and Soulcalibur IV.

Holy , I must be living under a rock. Got the new "Games for Windows" (free sub, so please don't flame!), and it was the first time I'd heard of Starcraft 2.
Man, did that bring up some old memories. I remember that the Spurs were playing it while on their way to winning their first Championship, and I was so psyked... I'd imagine that the online opponent kicking my ass was Tim Duncan and not some 12 year old who skipped school to play Starcraft all day...
Anyway. Pretty cool that Starcraft 2 is announced while Spurs win 4th Championship.

I used to play Diablo II when I was in 7th grade and I remember I had become friends with this one guy that had all sorts of crazy gear on his character and was always giving me what he didnt want anymore, come to find out after a year he played for the Astros
Forza 2 blows my mind. Well the people who paint freakin' intricate images on their cars with nothing but basic and some not basic shapes, gradients and colors, blow my mind. I can hardly believe it. I had a hard time even taking in what I was seeing. You can't upload pictures so everything is done by layering shapes and adding color.

Those Forza design are sick! I screwed around with the customizations for giggles, but I could not even imagine the time these individuals put into making those designs.
They seriously have talent. I dont think its that far of a reach to assume they were all accomplished graphic artists.
I can't imagine what they could do with photoshop.
To convey what I find unbelievable, I took pics of all the templates these guys used to make these pictures.
(not the greatest quality but hopefully you get the scope of what they can do with such basic shapes)

For all my fellow college football fan geeks, NCAA '08 release date is July 17-right around the corner, have my reservation and am looking forward to this game!
The recruiting mode is supposed to be completely re-done. Instead of 5 areas to recruit/make a pitch to potential players, there are now in excess of 15 areas to make pitches to recruits. I am REALLY looking forward to this game!

Guitar Hero 2: 80's Encore Edition is coming out at the end of the month for you smart people who kept your PS2s. Hopefully it's available on the Xbox marketplace soon thereafter.

I really need to get back to gaming. I have Forza that I haven't even broken through the first tournaments left, FEAR which I haven't finished the first level, I barely finished my first season on NBA2K7(I don't simulate any games, so forgive me). Add that to C&C 3 sitting there, I need to stop neglecting these unfinished games, because Halo 3 and GTA IV are coming fast.
For those with FEAR, is it worth getting?
Also, I downloaded the demo for NCAA 08, it had no commentary, 2 minute quarters (full game), Michigan @ USC. I have last years game, this game wa 60 fps (as compared to last years 30), but still felt like a typical EA football game. Normally I wouldnt judge a game on a demo, but I'm sick of EA. I'm passing on this and getting All Pro Football 2k8.
I played FEAR on the PC and I tried the XBOX version, it plays the same. The game will creep you the out, especially at night. Gameplay wise, it's a very solid FPS. I give it like a 9/10.
