Thanks. Is Justin any good? Will we have multi-generational Spurs?
That tweet about no cap space seems to have cap holds for all the FAs...

Timmy looks readier than prime LMA tbh.
He was a walk on 6'9 forward wearing #50 and redshirted his freshman year. He didn't contribute much to the team last year as a sophmore averaging .2 pts and .2 rebounds. He could be a late bloomer, I'm not sure how many guys get to learn from TD and his father. You never know but as of now he's not showing NBA potential.
Thanks.![]()
The more I think about, the more I'm starting to believe Aldridge will opt in on that easy $23M
Drunkford's residential ST fleshlights will then say Spurs were all in on 2019 anyways... then after the huge Parker extension to go along the Pau, Mills, and Green extensions those fluffers will change the year to 2023
I anticipate we'll see Green, Parker, and possibly Aldridge all opt out next summer. That would open up $55 million. Then the Spurs will go after their FA targets, and either hit on those, or overpay those guys to come back next summer :-/
Just waiting until next year for the inevitable, "well...there was no one good in the 2018 FA class anyway...".
Then the next year, "well...there was no one good in the 2019 FA class anyway...".
And so on.
Him opting in has been my biggest concern.
The use of fleshlight in your post is hilarious. Clever reference.![]()
You already know they're going to keep giving Parker loyalty contracts until he can't walk anymore. They'll probably do the same for Green too.
There was a time Pop would tell a guy he's outlived his usefulness here, but not anymore.
So the derrick rose one year placeholder option on a vet min was a possibility and spurs don't even consider it and ink patty for 50 mil at the stroke of midnight.
I'm not against an r.c. firing at this point. It's not going to upset me. Maybe a change is needed.
I floated that option out there in may and said they should let patty walk and bring rose in on a one year min deal to rehab his reputation.
I don't know why people continue to blame R.C. for this all. He's basically the accountant / capologist. If you're going to hold him accountable for doing his job, you need to hold Pop, and probably Holt, accountable for what they're asking him to do.
Pop would never do that with any of the core four. Others? Sure.
Just to clear some air:
Kyle Anderson
BP3
Blossomgame
DJ Murray
Davis Bertans
Bryn Forbes
Jean-Charles
Fathead Jr.
Say what you want to say, believe in whatever you want to believe but look at those ˆ and tell me PATFO hasn't surrounded Kawhi w/ a bunch of scrubs?
Add to them:
-Simmons (who's no longer with the team)
-One legged Rudy Gay
-One quad tendon Tony Parker
-Half hearted LaMarcus Aldridge
-50MM MicroW Fatty 12:01 Thrills
-48MM MVPayed Gasoft
Some posters brung the idea of trading LMA for assets and tank this upcoming season but that thought was quickly killed because it would rob one of Kawhi's prime years but whatever for the NEXT 5Those who ted on the the idea are the ones who're preaching the Built not Bought stupid motto. The Jeff McDonalds of the life. The Reactionists who are thinking that standing pat is the way to go. Let the Worriers have their (FOR THE NEXT 5-6 YEARS) dominance. Everything that comes up has to go down. Exactly, same as Kawhi's prime.
Here's to PATFO FA exertion and to our mental health![]()
Amen to this post
Poor Kawhi surrounded by D league talent. Embarrassing.
he has more talent then david robinson had
Pop isnt going to get fired anytime soon. R.c. is the most logical scapegoat. I know it's not all on him. Just frustrated at this point and looking to point a finger at someone.
I have it as being $34,350,280 to 9 players if LMA, Green, and Gay all opt out
Kawhi, Forbes (RFA), Bertans (RFA) Anderson (RFA) White, Murray, Mills, Gasol, 2018 1st rounder, after roster charges that would be around $32,000,000.
I don't think LMA opts out, and if Gay has a bad or mediocre season he'll almost certainly opt in too. Green is probably a toss up.
If none of them opt out then the Spurs would be probably be over the cap and only have the MLE and Bi- annual exception to work with. Miliutinov probably takes chunk of the MLE, resigning Parker, and cheap contracts to round out the roster.
The over the cap route seems most likely, which is a major bummer.
Be honest though, we all knew this was going to happen. We should have walked away from LMA when he wanted a second meeting with Phoenix
I get shivers from just reading that tbh
Instead of working in his game, Patty in a book tour. #gotpaid #guaranteed4years
