if that happens go cav's
Pop took the high road about the refs.
if that happens go cav's
I think Pop took TP out of the game too early in the 3rd and in too early in the fourth...
And this wasn' a game to make some adjustments with manu, I mean there are easiers games coming for that!
It was a must win game "psychlgicaly" because we'll probably face them in the 1st round...
He should have kept TP as the main option, to get him rolling find his rythm (Tony often talks about it) and run the team!
THIS STATEMENT here is the truth,
Any ing referee in any form of basketball would know that we were trying to foul. This is complete from the NBA and it's refs. We at least deserved a chance with the ball back down 3 instead of 4.
Yep I'd go Cavs all the way. Mike Brown and Lebron are classy people. Lebron still gives respect to people even if he does get a little arrogant at times.
Pop is a ing idiot. NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE A STATEMENT.
What is this ? Mike Brown would have probably even said something and you can bet your ass Phil Jackson would have too.
Way to ing go Pop you leave you players hanging out there all game with your crap rotations and then you don't even stick up for them after the game.
That is not what a good coach does. Even if you felt that the players are the ones to blame you should still stick up for them.
That's why Manu doesn't make friends in the NBA. He is here to win. Honestly I don't know why TP would be friends with Paul with the way he acts against us every time we play them.
You think Michael Jordan would take this ?
+1 LeBron is my favorite non-Spur in the NBA.![]()
Well to be honest I misunderstood you. I thought you were calling TP a . I see what you are saying. CP is a and why TP likes him? Who knows, he must have a great personality off the court.
Don't know why he does that. It's not as if the Refs ever appreciate the Spurs. They give Jackson calls all the time and he's always the first to complain about calls when he doesn't get them. Pop taking the higher ground thinking the refs will appreciate it next game![]()
Jordan was friend with Barkley!![]()
Says who? Barkley? Jordan thought of Barkley as a joke.
I'm pretty sure he'd like to keep those $25,000 bucks that he would lose talking to the wall (NBA won't do anything about the ty refs)
I know, I was just kidding!
But MJ was special, he was like a beast!!!
He even loved to humiliate his own teamates!!!![]()
Even though the Spurs played like complete , especially from 3, that doesnt give the refs an excuse to completely BLOW the game at the end. The game is 48 minutes long, so even though the Spurs were down 87-80, they finally showed some ing heart and guts and cut it to 87-86, only for the ref to GIVE CPgay 3 free throws. Are you ing kidding me? The refs KNOW that the Spurs have to foul on purpose to stay in the game, but of course...let us give Paul 3 FT's to close the game for good instead of letting the Spurs try and force OT. you refs, you NBA.
Yeah that is what I was saying.
If Barkley acted the way Chris Paul does every time the Bulls played the Suns Jordan would have none of that and tell Barkley where to stick his friendship.
the most rediculous thing ive ever seen. these refs are now on the list of people psychos should kill. im not condoning violence, but if any psychos are in this thread, they should definitly take note that these people would be less missed than anyone.
I just want to say that once again the Spurs got robbed in last night's game by totally inept or downright cheatin referres. Tony had enought contact with CP to call a foul in the backcourt, and when Manu fouled CP, he was not in the act of shooting, just running down the court. The fact that you throw the ball towards the basket after a non-shooting foul is committed against you does not make it a shooting foul!
So my question is simple. When is Pop going to get some guts and publicly attack the horrible tactics of NBA refs against his team--or is he worried that the fine money might limit his ablility to expand his wine cellar? Which is more important, Pop? And finally when is the Spurs organization going to stand up and do something serious about these corrupt and pitiful referees---after all the calls have been so obviously bad that even the NBA office had to get involved in the last 2 years,so when are the Spurs brass going to go after somebody and do something about this problem?
If Paul really is a cheap flopper, then he would fit in perfectly with the Spurs. As much as most of you about him, all of you put Paul on your team in a heartbeat.
1.) Tony Parker pulled on Chris Paul's jersey on that second to last play.
2.) Tony Parker barely grazed Paul when he was trying to foul him in the backcourt. I thought that Parker fouled Paul, too, until I saw the replay.
3.) Those last three free throws were justified.
The Spurs got the ball where they wanted it. The problem is that they took too many threes, and this is coming from a Hornets fan. It was like watching the Magic, except the fact that the threes were not going in.
Per NBA rules::::
When a player is fouled while attempting a three-point shot, than that player is to take three (3) FOUL shots.
Now I now you all do not want to admit it, but it was clear to see that Paul was fouled while trying to shoot a three pointer, the call was good.
It is just so much more convenient to blame the refs rather than the team.
The Spurs players ed up. I am on them. Don't you worry about that, but the refs ed up too and I will be on them about that too.
Why should I let the refs off the hook?
How did the refs up? Well, yeah, they did screw up. Tony Parker was clearly holding on to Paul's jersey before the play took place, so the Hornets should of had two free throws and possession.
Yes he is, mine too. If they meet lakers in finals, fakers are getting their ass kicked, with lebron giving the hardest kick.
Like I've been saying for a while.
As soon as TD's run is over I am done with the NBA.
The product is . Simple as that.
