Only bright spot for RMD has been Diarra - he's a boss.

Now if they hadn't had given up that goal we would be in for an interesting match.

Pathetic display by Madrid again, 1 second, 1 foul. The ref didn't want to sent anybody off but he should have. No wonder they finish every game with 10 men.

At least RMA is trying something offensively this time.
They are a little chaotic, but they are trying...
The previous game was boring as .
What other option did they have when they came in down 2 goals on aggregate? Need to score a lot to move on.

Sometimes Barca gets too complacent with the ball, taking unnecessary risks.
Specially when they are close to Valdez.
If, by chance, a RMA player can take advantage of one of those lazy passes, they could score.
Only then this game will get interesting.

They definitely do. They simply are too lax through parts of the game, it's quite nerve-wracking. The Ronaldo goal and cope del rey clincher was off of a stupid ass mistake along those lines.

All in all, these two games must have been pretty demoralizing for Real. In the first leg, they are desperately trying not to concede while waiting for possible counter attacks. Not the worst tactic against Barca, but it didn't work.
In the second leg, Real are trying to play forward, but they don't get off one single shot on goal for over an hour.
Well, at least both sides were focusing on playing the game more than on rolling around on the pitch and calling for cards tonight.

Yep. They're undisciplined and it's their undoing. But what can you expect when your coach is the biggest whiny in the history of the sport?

Oh well, for all intents and purposes the 18 days of clasicos ended up Barca 2 Real 1 and 1 tie, although the tie was basically a Barca win since it made la liga theirs to easily take.

For one last time this season:

    Real Madrid

    MourinHO

Barca goes through but the problem still remains. UEFA needs to start implementing suspensions and fines for playacting. Even though the diving wasn't as prevalent in this match, some of them were definitely as bad. Pedro, Dany Alves, Mascherano... they all had instances where they literally threw themselves to the floor after being ing grazed. I love Masche, but that "OMG I'M ING SHOT!!!" routine he did in the second half was ridiculous and embarassing. I wouldn't have a problem with a 2 game suspension for unsportsmanlike conduct if UEFA ever had the balls to implement such a thing.

and DA86 if we're talking red cards for intentions then Pedro definitely deserved one for his attempt at Diarra I think it was. er missed, but it was a dirty tackle.

having said that, I'm glad Mourinho is out. Piece of is annoying as all .

P.S. After reading several Spanish forums I have come to the conclusion that Real Madrid fans are quite on par with 2005 Phoenix Suns fans as the most whiny, disingenuous bunch of sore ing losers on the planet.

Real is just a level lower than Barca, they really had no answer for Barca's passing game except to foul.

Manchester should advance, which would make an awesome final (even though I have those assholes).

No, that deserved a yellow, which is what he got. You can't compare a "high es up tackle" to what Pedro did today.

at least Real have a trophy...that in itself is quite stunning. Barca is just at a higher level. Real needed luck to win and they didn't get it.

I wonder if the special one will return....maybe not if Ronaldo stays

Should be a better final than 09, Man Utd won't have to go through Ronaldo every offensive possession. Still, I think Barca take it (barring any injuries or other cir stances).

Inter really lost to Schalke??? Home and away????

    LOL ITALY

I hate Barca and ManU so it's a tough call here. I just hope one of them gets eviscerated. It won't be Barca and that Messi guy is alright so I hope Sir Alex starts crying at 4-0

I agree with those saying that it will be very even. Barca isn't playing its best football right now (that short roster always costs them at the end of seasons) and Man-U looks pretty solid this year. I still give a slight edge to Barca but it could go either way, specially 'cause is only one game.
