Funny how everybody is so quick to on the EPL after one bad year. Even in this year there is still a premier league team in the last 4 of the Champions league, speaks volumes to its strength imo.
You get what you seed. I remember all those EPL fans saying: "Messi isn't the best in the World he has to prove it in the best league in the World to claim that le", "Barcelona aren't that good, they're lucky to play against ty compe ion all weeks" etc, etc, etc. And all this despite the fact that Messi and Barcelona already bukkaked Man-U, Chelsea, Arsenal you name it, time and time again.

lol a cold windy afternoon at Stoke

Not a big deal for your teams to be honest. Barca will dismantle Chelsea as easily as they do to a Getafe/Zaragoza/Osasuna, will retain energy for RMAO. Chelsea will be tired chasing Barca around the pitch, further increasing Arsenal's chances.

FWIW, Fox is stepping up with the live coverage. Here's the TV schedule in the US:

Tuesday, April 17: Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid – Live on FOX Soccer. Coverage begins at 2:00pm EST.

Wednesday, April 18: Chelsea vs Barcelona – Live on FX. Coverage begins at 2:00pm EST.

Tuesday, April 24: Barcelona vs Chelsea – Live on FOX Soccer. Coverage begins at 2:00pm EST.

Wednesday, April 25: Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich – Live on FX. Coverage begins at 2:00pm EST.

Games actually start at 2:30pm EST, IIRC.

I think that guy's an idiot for calling out Chelsea like that. Chelsea can play with the other teams in the semis. No question about it. This could be the extra motivation they need to send them through.
lol no they can't. It would be an epic choke job for Barca to lose.

I don't think they can. This isn't the Chelsea that had Barca on the brink of elimination in 08/09. Granted, they still have quality and tons of experience, but I don't think they will get the better of Barca over two games. Could actually be a pretty clear-cut affair.

If blown chances from Torres were worth points, Chelsea might have a chance.
