Completely all over them after the 1st quarter
yeah, he was everywhere today...
Completely all over them after the 1st quarter
That Simmons block will be on ESPN possibly, but ideally I'd like him to block it and regain possession. Similar to Kawhi on Westbrook in 14. He was in perfect position to snatch it away
Exactly. I just hope that we can take the series in 4 or 5 and get a little rest.
The Spurs' scrubs are better than the Grizzlies' scrub no surprise here.
Nah Parker is altruist 3rd is for Kyle tbh
Good Gawd, the Spurs gave up 30 points in the 1st quarter and Memphis has only scored 41 the rest of the game so far. Memphis really needed Parsons and Allen to have a chance at going deep this year. Parsons being Parson f*cked that all up. What a waste that dude has been.
Murray missed too many games and Forbes played well the last few games. I think he just trusted Forbes more. Probably valued Forbes three point shooting. I think Murray is in year 1 of a 3 year plan.
Call me greedy, but I want to win by 40.
Memphis' 5 wont blow out the Spurs' 3rd unit. Correct or not?
Kyle Anderson ladies and gentlemen...![]()
Yep but he still impacted the game.
Simmons was pissed because he thought he'd been getting fouled on the other end. He did exactly what he was trying to do with that block. I'd rather see the Spurs get possession, but he was working out some frustration.
Dedmon got a block right after that and Simmons didn't try to take off in transition - he pulled it back and made sure not to do something stupid. He really is trying to play smarter ball.
DPOY vs just a great block.
Makes sense. Some people on here think Pop is anti-Murray and they get so mad. He's not moving the needle this year, but your response seems like the most simple explanation.
Who knows, he may be active at some point anyway
They'll be lucky to make it to 80.Suffocating defense, though

Spurs, despite our doubts and everything, have been a top defense.
Blowout, yes, but next game starts 0-0 and I remember the Thunder last year. So hope they keep the appropriate fear.
I'd take a 1-point win, if they would blow the final buzzer right now. No injuries in garbage time, please.
Makes sense then lol. In a blowout its probably meaninglessness, but just a habit I'd like to see him pick up and I'm sure the coaching staff would appreciate it. He's got the athleticism to do it
I was really enjoying this game till I realized Dijon was inactive and Forbes was active, then all those blocked shots made me happy again
