If he re-injures it, he misses next season, too. That's a pretty dumb risk.
We're not winning anything this year anyway, he'd better not play

You all assuming he is talking about playing on the court. He is involved in the coaching meetings and could be referencing adjustments and schemes causing .
Isn't he ineligible to play. Doesn't he have to be on the playoff roster. I'm certain the Spurs are not so desperate to throw a guy in to play when he isn't in game shape and hasn't played all year, but that's assuming they even could. I'm pretty sure he is not eligible to play.
There are no more 'playoff rosters'. There is also no injured reserve list. If you are drawing an NBA salary, you're on the 15 man roster, and are eligible to be one of the 13 actives. There's no way the Spurs would play him until training camp, though.
There is zero chance he plays. As much as I wish he would play instead of Patty/Marco, its just not going to happen.
I would rather have him ready all year next year.
come on we are talking about Popovich. He let a player sit out an entire Playoff series cause he rolled his ankle. No way he plays DeJounte
Yeah he ain’t playing. Has he been on the bench at all during the season or playoffs?
I was also thinking about it this way.
Come on guys. Look at what he is holding. It is obviously the suit he will be wearing tonight.
People are stupid.
Yes, he's been there. In civvies.
I rather see Lonnie on defense, just no Mills/Beli/Bertans together. That’s when Nuggets start their run on weak defense
WOW! That would be a nice dream come true, but I'm sure he's talking about team concept & his behind the sense involvement with the team. Sounds like he's leaking some adjustments or a game plan drawn up for tonight's game? If so, it will be interesting to see what Pop has up his sleeve for tonight. GSG, & let's get the advantage back to the Spurs, & hopefully take care of business in SA on Thursday!!!
You gotta admire the passion he shows for being a team player, though, unlike some Load Managing ass es who couldn't bother themselves to cheer the team on last year off the bench. He genuinely cares about the team and takes his role seriously in game-planning.
I think being in these coaching meetings will do wonders for his basketball IQ and decision making
I agree. Seems like a lot of people are not thinking about that.
Could the plan be he suit up and wave towels from the bench for much needed mentoring from the Spirtual leader and Championship play inducing wombat?
