    It should be marketed by ElNono as “Parrot Be-Gone,” tbh.

    Since the forum doesn't appear to support hiding unwanted threads, for those using uBlock origin or similar adblocker, you can enter this rule manually:

    Code:
    www.spurstalk.com##:xpath(//a[contains(text(), 'Spurtacular') or contains(text(), 'Red Pill Regimen')]/ancestor::li)
    adding additional alts, etc, should be pretty straightforward, tbh, but if needed we can use this thread to update it.

    This applies site-wide, so you get the clean up on every aisle, tbh...

    End result:
    To no longer see threads created by a poster named (for example) "Parrot, add ElNoNo's code in the "My Filters" section of UBlock, change "Spurtacular" to "Parrot.

    You will no longer see threads created by poster named "Parrot."

    For those using the "thread started by" junk filter, here's an improved version:

    Code:
    www.spurstalk.com##:xpath(//a[contains(text(), "Thread")]/ancestor::div[contains(@class, "author")]/ancestor::li[contains(@id, "thread_")])
    In the past, if a thread had "Thread" in the le, it would be blocked. This updated version ensures to check for the author instead, to make sure it only blocks thread authored by the user.

    Hey ElNono what's the code to totally wipe someone from existence outside of a count of their incessant annoying reply post notifications? Like, what's the code to also hide those on ignore in your notifications too and not just in threads?

    So ElNono if I could get a bit of help from you in regards to xml it would be appreciated.

    I came up with 2 very easy solutions to wipe those you wish not to see any longer off the "last posted by" column and also within our "quotes" notification pages. However, you have to specify one by one who you're trying to hide instead of simply referring back to your ignore list. I'd rather it be blanket statements and not specific users to block one by one.

    ----

    ! Wipes users from "Last posted by"
    www.spurstalk.com##:xpath(//dl[@class="threadlastpost td"]/dd/div[@class="popupmenu memberaction"]/a/strong[contains(text(), 'USERNAME')]/ancestor::a)

    ! Wipes users from "Notifications"
    www.spurstalk.com##:xpath(//div[@class="member_content"]/div[@class="subsection"]/ul[@class="floatcontainer"]/li/a/span[contains(text(), 'USERNAME')]/ancestor::li)

    ---

    Only thing I can gather is the fact that all links refer to the "member.php?u=" with a "strong" attribute. I am choosing to capture the attribute(tagname) because I am unable to the inverse as a blanket statement referring back to our personal ignore lists.

    Here's also how to wipe quotes completely by those who you wish never to hear from again & wipe users off the "Active List" on the homepage too. And how to wipe users from the "Thread Information" box at the end of every thread to see who's currently viewing said thread.

    ____

    ! Wipes user quotes completely
    www.spurstalk.com##:xpath(//div[@class="bbcode_postedby"]/a/strong[contains(text(), 'USERNAME')]/ancestor::div[@class="bbcode_container"])

    ! Wipes user from "Active Users" list on homepage
    www.spurstalk.com##:xpath(//a[@class="username"]/span[contains(text(), 'USERNAME')]/ancestor::li)

    ! Wipes user from "Thread Information" list in threads
    www.spurstalk.com##:xpath(//ol[@class="commalist"]/li/a/span[contains(text(), 'USERNAME')]/ancestor::li)

    I've used "contains(text(), 'USERNAME1') or contains(text(), 'USERNAME2')" in the past. Especially when Derp had a million users, but that's the extent of it.
