IT posted that Jennings is a possibility to be in town on April 26th.
So I am looking for the player mentioned above in the OT rankings from 247 thinking I will also see Turntine somewhere up in the top 10.
247 has moved him to an IOL. All this time it seemed as we had stepped quietly concerning Turntine as to not take another OT of his caliber.
And he is now ranked as an IOL, I dont get it.
Of course, I also read the aformentioned player in your quote as Immanuel Thenacho so maybe I have some sort of dyslexia associated with the 247 site.

Williams at IT had a post today saying he believes Texas will end up with both OL Felix Ojo (Mansfield Lake Ridge) and OL John Turntine III (North Crowley).
After speaking with Ojo multiple times recently, and with those close to Turntine III, he doesn't see them anywhere other than in Austin.

Quotes from Turntine III (IT):
“I’m just working on myself, getting better, getting stronger,” Turntine said. “I’ve been doing track and field—throwing shot put and discus—and I’m in powerlifting too. I’ve lost a ton of weight lately because my metabolism picked up. I just need to eat more.”
“Every school is still recruiting me as a tackle,” he said. “Texas, Tennessee, Michigan, Missouri, A&M—they all told me they’re not worried about how much I weigh right now. They love my frame, and they said it’s their job to develop me physically once I get on campus. That’s what matters.”
“Coach Flood, Coach Sark, Coach Becton—they all talked to me about what I need to be doing training-wise, workout-wise, eating-wise. They’ve given me a ton of advice and I’m trying to implement those things right now.”
“I wanted to go see how he (Flood) coaches, how he teaches,” Turntine said. “And even during the season, he would always give me tips and advice—things I could work on in my game. That hasn’t changed. It’s still happening. He gives me advice—not just on football—and I really appreciate that.”
“I’m not worried about rankings or any of that,” he said. “I haven’t been to any camps this year. I’m not worried about what people are saying about me or where they’ve got me ranked. My film speaks for itself, and that’s what really matters—real football and the relationships I’m building with coaches and schools.”
“Yeah, all three of my older siblings are in Austin right now,” Turntine said. “My sister JoJo is about to graduate from UT, and my brother Kai and my sister Sky—the twins—are graduating from Huston-Tillotson next year. We know Austin really well, and we love the city.”
“Whatever school I enroll into,” Turntine said, “just know it’s the one we trusted. The one we had the best relationship with. The one we felt could develop me on and off the field—and where the people are real.”
OTF saying Wardell Mack was running with the first team at the star position this week.
IT believes Jelani McDonald could remain at safety, so Mack at star makes sense.
IT reporting the Texas offer for CB Brody Jennings of Jacksonville, FL "moved the needle" and he's talking to his family about visiting Austin soon.
He mentioned the offer is meaningful because Texas doesn't offer many DBs, and he's had a relationship with Coach Hudson (nickels coach) for a long time.
It won't be easy flipping him from Michigan, but it's an offer he's been wanting and he's anxious to meet Coach Orphey.

For S CJ Hester of Cocoa, FL who was offered last night, IT said he's "really watching" Texas.
He has previous relationships with coaches Akina and Orphey, and loves Coach PK's scheme along with the program's secondary development.
Hester wants to visit Austin at some point this spring.

Per IT, Michigan is making a move for S Chace Calicut of Galena Park North Shore after his recent visit to Ann Arbor.
It doesn't sound like anything is imminent, but they question if Texas will ultimately be as aggressive as them financially.
The plan remains that he'll visit Austin in April and June.

Imo we need Derek Williams to integrate quickly after August practice.
Taaffe will be gone next year. Like to see how Filsame looks as well.
I forgot to mention I very much like Jelani but safety is also about instincts and being in the right place.
McDonald may be our most violent hitter.
