Should we go for DominAyton for a year?

Rich Paul is Chinese kid's agent, figures.
At least the Blazers made a lot of commercial revenue money with this move.
If Cronin wants to give us a 1st, I'm down.

Devin plus filler for Ayton and an FRP

So glad I’m not a blazers fan
Someone has to be bad, stupid and lottery-bound in the West for next few years . My guess: Jazz, Blazers, Pelicans, Suns/Grizz (after blowing it up soon), Kings will take turns before Warriors/Clippers join in....

Someone please explain Bryant to me. Feels like we just used the 14th pick to draft Champagnie.
I think the idea is getting an athletic defender, spot up shooter, event creator and play finisher who isn't asking for the ball to Kobe it up.

It's a good complement to the good defenders who don't create events like Sochan or Castle, and who should be good to go with 3 point shooting off the bat.

AND it's adjusting the roster away from the clown defenders of Keldon, Branham, Devin (sadly) and the sad history of Pop loving to pair Forbes, Belineli, and Mills together.

Whatever minutes he does play, they'll be minutes where the Spurs can have an aggressive defense.

I like Walter Clayton. He reminds me of a poor man’s Jamal Murray. Not just cause he looks like him.

This is another interesting stretch, where we see what the Nets do with their glut of firsts in this draft.

Go Raynaud instead. He can play backup C.
Let’s hope we have another trade planned to get a young big that we hear about tonight. But, until Spurs bring in 3 rookies we will believe it when we see it. Thus, the probability is that we are bringing in 1-2 big men via free agency rather than the draft.

Don't understand why the Spurs threw their 38 away so early. There are a lot of players cascading down the board. They could have went up and grabbed one.

Have to assume they have a plan, I know people like to crap on Wright but he’s been hitting on every move recently

if all it takes is 3 second round picks, Brian should call the Nets so we can get a C like Raynaud or Kalkbrenner

I don’t think the Spurs want to bring in 3 rookies. But it remains remotely possible that they could trade back into an early 30s pick depending on who is left, theoretically.

Spurs have 4 2nd rounders next season. Now might be a good time to cash in a couple or few.

I don't get this at all when Clingan is such a promising young 5
Rooting for West bottom feeders and rebuilding teams to be stupid and bad for next years, tbh.. I'm also encouraging "blow it up" options for teams in middle (Pelicans/Grizz/Kings).. There is no way we should be sweating out every game compared to how trashy the East is. Eventually the injuries will pile up if you can't win in blowouts..

Theoretically, yeah. But they threw that pick away for next to nothing, really.

Here's McNeeley, Fleming, Wolf, Jakucionis, Clifford, others are still floating down there.

Miami s a bunch of stupid teams by finally taking Jakucionis. Spoelstra is going to have him playing really well.
