Yeah, the backup point guard spot is something that we've been waiting forever to get fixed. Seems like it's going to be another season without a decent option.
There.
Fixed it. I'm officially tired of waiting for him to "get out of his slump." HE DOWNRIGHT STINKS!!!! While he was on the floor we managed to get outscored 18 to 4!

BLAME ALSO POP HE CAN MAKE PLAY THE STARTERS MORE MINUTES TONY CAN MAKE 40 MINUTES AND HIS TEAM AT THE BEGGINING OF THE FOURTH ALWAYS SUCK
Brian Cook Open Dunk.
RIP Spurs Defense.
Same old story... it's so aggrivating.
I had to leave the game at half time. My room mates were concerned about me being out late with the weather like its been.
I'd like to call bull on 4 players on the floor tech. That does not warrant a tech and is not against the rules. Highschool basketball follows the rules 10X better than the NBA and that happend against us one time and I even asked the coaches and refs shouldn't they a tech, they said NO>
No ! Disgraceful.Oh and the Spurs fans sucked too.
How come in the last two minutes, the Lakers fans in the crowd were louder booing Tim at the line than the Spurs fans were booing Kobe at the line?
God, I miss Hemisfair.
The Mavs are totally going to steamroll the Lakers tomorrow making this loss even worse.![]()
I'm all for an Udrih trade, but if you think he was the reason for the 18-4 you're due for a rude awakening.
Face it. This team - the whole team - doesn't play well. Sure there are moments of genious from individual players, but as a team we suck right now. And if the whole team play isn't addressed, then no number of trades will help.
Don't get too confident. Eventhough you guys should win, remember what happened last time we played each other.
Maybe the fans in the crowd felt Tim deserved to get booed for looking like he didn't give a for most of the game. I've never seen anyone play such half-hearted defense in a big game. He didn't even try to challenge anyone tonight. Leaving guys WIDE OPEN under the rim. Nazr used to get crucified for slow rotations and such but Duncan put Nazr to shame tonight.
Agreed. Remember in the 2005 Finals when the team had to plead with the people at the game to make noise? Pathetic.
A part of me died on that play.
You do know that some of the rules are different.
I have notice this habit for a long time now, all Tim would do is stand under the rim with his hands up. Is it do to the fact that he doesn’t want to pick up fouls, to slow to jump when a player is coming at him, or thinks he is just tall enough to just stand there with his hands in the air.
Very true. The Spurs could have won this game. The Spurs have the talent to win this and other games but as a unit they are not doing as well as they could be.Face it. This team - the whole team - doesn't play well. Sure there are moments of genious from individual players, but as a team we suck right now. And if the whole team play isn't addressed, then no number of trades will help.
A shakeup has to be done but it has to be the right kind. The Spurs can't make a trade for the sole purpose of making a trade. The right trade could mean another le, the wrong one could set the Spurs back even further.
I agree.
It's just that Udrih has been frustrating me this entire season. And he is the point guard while Parker takes breathers... Us getting outscored while he's on the floor has a lot to do with how he gets the offense rolling. His +/- numbers were good last season... for a point guard they are absolutely terrible this season.
NBA Rules: Section I-Team
a. Each team shall consist of five players. No team may be reduced to less than five players.
I think if a team is down to 4 because of fouls and/or injury then its permissible. I may be wrong...anyone?
i just saw the last 8 minutes and geez. besides that spurt to get the game tied, we look flat right now. i'm in dallas, so i hardly get to actually SEE a game. pop looks frustrated and none of the spurs have that fire in their eyes. well, ginobili does, but that's about it. i ain't crapping on our team, but we to shape up before the rodeo road trip.
No the true story is :
-Tim does care but he can't make it anymore in moneytime, the best he can have is FT
-Manu only plays 4th quarters, plus,he isn't succesfull anymore(maybe it was just luck in 2005)
-Tony is just a victim I think,I mean he just does what Pop asks him so in the 4th,he is just a "ball boy".And yeah,he choked
-Bowen was handling the ball too much.Why??????????????,![]()

maybe just because he is our franchise player,he is better than duncan, manu and tony
-POP is a genious
a genious

Yes you are wrong.
If that many people foul out that it gets down to four, they bring back in the first one that fouled out and get assessed a T or something if he fouls again.
Uhhh the Lakers won.
Remember the block on Terry.
what about that last shot that turiaf made?
