No, the one where Tim had Amare's arm hooked... you must have been watching a different game.
They both had each other hooked

    PATHETIC EFFORT Spurs.

I don't mind if we lose, but at least give me my money's worth in effort.

Basic errors - play breakdowns, poor shot selection, elementary TOs, defensive breakdowns (in 2nd half of 2nd Q).

    WAKE THE F$#%CK UP!!!

Is Raja Bell going to keep this up? Maybe but probably not.

The Suns are basically playing for their season right now and are trying to win it in one quarter. You don't win a game in the 1st half. I do think the Spurs are lucky to be down only 7 though, but being down only 7 is nothing.

Spurs can erase this lead pretty quickly, so I'm not comfortable at all.

Stoudemire needs to wake the up.

you guys played a great 2nd qtr and deserve the lead

    nash is a stud

good to see manu wake up

Spurs just lost the energy for the 2nd Q, nothing to worry about. All they need is to stay right with the Suns until the 4th, then lock down and play Spurs 4th Q ball to close out a win. The officials have made a few bad calls on both ends, but it was the Spurs lack of energy that caused them the lead in the 2nd Q.
    Exactly my toughts.

But yeah, I agree with others - it could be worse. , if we made our fricking FTs it would be a tie game right now.
good point Tony missed two in a row. 7 missed free throws is the difference in the game.

Spurs homers blaming everything on the refs instead of the ty play by the players? I'm shocked! Can't wait until people start explaining how Pop isn't in anyway responsible for the mix-and-match lineups that keep getting destroyed.

    You always find a way.

How about giving Steve Nash some credit for playing out of his mind?
What way Manny? Suns went on a 7-0 run, almost all points in the paint, to start the second with Hoberto in there at center and Finley at "PF".

We took a timeout, and he doesn't even come back with Horry or TD, leaves Oberto out there, and the Suns push it out to a 13-2 run to start the quarter before Pop finally brings back Tim and Horry.

That was ing stupid and Pop deserves called out for it.

yeah, hopefully we tighten the screws defensively, duncan's 3 fouls hurt like

this coulda been much worse, so you're 7 point deficit isn't too bad

Time for the league to call the game at half because that's the only way the Suns would have a chance at taking this series. Some of you pussies crack me up. Relax.

What's ironic is how Spurs fans find ways to rationalize losing a lead besides giving players on the other team credit.

Can't say something like, "Wow, Nash is playing great."

No, you'd rather blame it on the refs, Oberto, small ball, Elson, Pop, Tony's head... etc. etc. etc.

Can't watch the game but see that we only have 6 assists to Nash's 9. Are we passing the ball around or not?

We went to the rim. Manu was hacked by Barbosa and it was a no call.
they need to go more, force the refs to call the foul, going once and take 4 jumpers is going to reduce the amount chances they have to get a call. I should say the spurs need to be all around more aggressive. the refs are letting them play so ing play, get on the floor, scrap, swing , dive whatever it takes.

Spurs pulled their usual lose focus, lack energy bull in the second quarter. I hope Popovich tears them all a couple of new ones. Anyway, two quarters left to go and the Spurs haven't looked into the game yet.

God, we're down 7 and Marion & Amare have combined for just 9 points. We need to run a lot of pick and rolls between Manu and Timmy in the second half.

AHF, the game isn't won in the 2nd quarter. You find time with these stop gap lineups in the 1st half, not the 2nd. Tim had to sit at some point and you're not going to play HOrry heavy minutes in the first.

You can't have a stud lineup the entire duration of the game.

Come on guys, Sounds like some of you are losing your composure and tossing in the towel. There's still plenty of ball to be played . I was not happy with that lineup to start the second quarter though with TD sitting on the bench. Pop should have brought him out a lot earlier. That rest should benefit TD in the second half though so we'll see what happens. Spurs gotta come out fighting in the second half and TAKE this game. Forget about the refs. Let's GO SPURS!

we have to be in attack mode and force the refs to call fouls instead of giving up and pleading for calls. keep attacking and eventually a foul will be called.

Actually only a very few homers

Missed ft's and shots are the problems not the refs. Spurs need to do a better job of trapping Nash and stop letting him turn the corner.
