His legs are definitely affected. Before he got hurt those shots go in, easy...

He should take a game off for "injury" or whatever on the Boston game. get 4 days of rest.

Although I think we dropped to 4th seed or somethng now.

If Barry was back I'd agree, but with Udoka out, you gotta suck it up.

Uh, are you saying he had much of a impact in the minutes he played?

I would have thought that Kurt Thomas would be just what the doctor ordered for a game like this. Instead, he did a little more than Elson would have.
He made 1 of his 2 attempts and had 5 boards in what, 14 minutes?

He was relegated to Elson minutes.

What I'm saying is that had he gotten more minutes, especially down the stretch, he would've contributed more.

I don't know why you guys think he was gonna get like 20 boards in the short time he was out there...

I'm amazed at how few whistles Duncan gets these days. Not just tonight ... but tonight was a pretty decent example. 18 field goal attempts before his first free throw? Ridiculous considering all the contact down low. This seems to be becoming more and more of an issue .....

It's got to be because the refs are fed up with his constant whining after every missed basket.

Your the one dropping the F bomb and getting all asshurt kiddo.
Uh, your arrogant posts get real old. And you make statements all the time that aren't necessarily correct and then when someone disagrees you retaliate with remarks that basically call them stupid. It's annoying and when I get annoyed I say a lot

Now u guys are starting to see how i feel about the disrespect Melo gets from refs. He gets hammered down low so much and they hardly call anything. It gets frustrating coz it can change the flow of the game (as you guys know)

And month continues. I hope we can gain some ground in April when Bones comes back and our rotations are set. Decent game tonight... wish we could have pulled out the W though.

Well, looks like Gasol sprained his ankle and Ray Allen sprained his ankle tonight.

Lakers lost, but Jazz, Hornets, and Rockets all rolled to wins.

Against at a team with athletic guards like Detroit, you can't run out three bigs in Bonner, Thomas and Duncan.

    You'd get eaten alive.

It's got to be because the refs are fed up with his constant whining after every missed basket.
He's been doing that for like seven years now. And last year he was a bigger whiner than he is this year. I don't know any logical explanation for why he's getting less free throws than any time since his rookie season. His minutes and field goal attempts are actually up. He's shooting from the same spots on the floor.

The whistle just isn't coming this year for whatever reason.

    loooots of jumpers.

    Especially from Ginobili.
I did not get to see the game up here in Dallas, so thanks for the explanation. If Gino is tired and/or hurt that will be a big reason for a lack of FTs. Still, six free throws blows my mind.

I am glad Tony is getting back to being Tony. I was wondering where he was for a long while.

He gets pampered by the refs. He averages nearly 2 more free throws than Duncan and he plays half of the game on the perimeter. I wish Duncan shot that many free throws.

so having a 36 year old forward, who doesn't play defense or keeps getting out rebound by Prince, is a better option?

It's all on Finley. Let me count the ways and be sure to add your own in case I missed some.

He's the only one not to play defense.
He's the only one to miss rotations.
He's the only one not protecting the basket.
He's the only one not guarding the perimeter.
He's the only one to miss his shots.
He's to blame for giving up so many rebounds.
He's the reason Duncan doesn't get any respect from the refs.
He's the reason for everyone else missing shots.
He's the only reason the bench sucks.
He's the reason Bowen was suspended.
He's the one that ed up Ime's ankle.
He's the reason Barry was traded and now having to sit out 30 days.
He's the reason Pop didn't play Bonner.
He's the reason Ginobli is bone tired.

I know I'm missing many more but I got tired of listing all the reasons.

    It's scary.
    Something isn't right...

Everyone was ing at Duncan whining for the no calls but it's obvious now that it's been going on and getting worse all season.

I have no clue why he's not getting the calls he deserves...even half the time.

Yeah no excuse for the lack of Fts from Duncan and Parker, but Ginobili was parked outside all night.

Don't know. I don't think Ray Allen's was that serious looking at the game replays.
