He's not. He's your typical conspiracy nut, who believes he's one of the few smart ones who can see "the truth", while the rubes are being blinded by the MSM. The more he's wrong, the more he will dig in, because if he admits he's wrong, that would mean he's the rube and he'd rather be delusional than wrong. Latching on any bit of news or tweet from dubious sources, that somehow proves they were right all along. It the same trap as people behind q-anon, anti-wax, stolen elections crowd have fallen for and it's mostly the same people also.

I pretty much see Putin's point. We would be pretty pissed off if Mexico and Russia hooked up and started putting troops on our southern border. That's what admitting Ukraine to NATO would be like.
