Trump’s Aides Have Apparently Taken Twitter Away From Him In Final Days Of Campaign

Donald Trump has had Twitter taken away from him by his campaign staff.

Apparently, in the wake of the Comey story, his team wanted to make sure Trump would stay on message and not use his social media account to distract from the obviously bad news for Hillary Clinton.

Therefore, they “deployed a series of creative tricks” to keep him from being his own worst enemy.

And one of those tricks was keeping him off his phone and tweeting away unsupervised.

Taking away Twitter turned out to be an essential move by his press team, which deprived him of a previously unfiltered channel for his aggressions.

On Thursday, as his plane idled on the tarmac in Miami, Mr. Trump spotted Air Force One outside his window. As he glowered at the larger plane, he told Ms. Hicks, his spokeswoman, to jot down a proposed tweet about President Obama, who was campaigning nearby for Mrs. Clinton.

“Why is he campaigning instead of creating jobs and fixing Obamacare?” Mr. Trump said. “Get back to work.” After some light editing — Ms. Hicks added “for the American people” at the end — she published it.

Melania Trump Reported To US Customs For Immigration Violations

After it was reported that Mrs. Trump worked in the US illegally before becoming a citizen, the wife of the Republican presidential nominee was reported to US Customs for immigration violations.


The Democratic Coalition Against Trump said in a statement:

The Democratic Coalition Against Trump reported Melania Trump to U.S. Customs and Border Protection on Sunday afternoon after reports surfaced that Mrs. Trump was paid to work while she was in the United States on a B-1/B-2 visitor visa, before she obtained a H-1 work visa.

According to a statement released by Melania Trump’s immigration attorney in October, Mrs. Trump arrived in the United States on a visitor visa on August 27, 1996, and received her work visa on October 18, 1996.

Recent do ents that surfaced this week state that Mrs. Trump was paid $20,056 for work performed between September 10 and October 15, 1996, meaning that she was working illegally in the United States during that time.

“We first questioned Melania Trump’s immigration status back in August, when the anti-immigrant rhetoric coming from Donald had reached its peak,” said Scott Dworkin, Senior Advisor to the Democratic Coalition.

“I am saddened by how Donald has acted over the course of this campaign.

Instead of offering a solution to our immigration challenges like Secretary Clinton has, Donald has called people seeking a better life in the United States murderers and rapists.

And all the while, his wife spent time in this country as one of those illegal immigrants, seeking a better life.”

The Trump family business is reported to have lost at least $800 million due to the presidential campaign.Trump’s own daughter refused to allow the most recent ad that she did for her father to be sent to the media in press materials because being associated with the campaign is bad for her business.

Single member districts are not in the cons ution. It is given to the state how to determine how their reps are apportioned as ling as it is by equally represented voting.

There is nothing that would preclude a proportional system from being put in place. Parties themselves are not written in there either.

I live in a 1 party state. I haven't had a meaningful general election here in my lifetime. 3 is greater than 2 sure but 2 is still greater than 1. I voted dem where the polls were close, sure, but I still ended up voting libertarian more often than not. I also contributed monetarily to the modern whig party once again this year. There is more than the POTUS, dim.
