Imagine we'd be on a big win streak if we came to play against the nets.

Manu and Tim. Who needs Tony, eh?

I really hope we re-sign Manu to play out his career with Tim (2 yrs 20mil like DRob?), and shop TP to see what we can get given that he wants to keep punishing his body year-round and he'll decline soon if he keeps doing that.
Wow really? You don't think maybe we're grinding Manu into the ground expecting him to perform like this, and maybe need to have one of our three most important players and one of our most reliable scorers around to take the load off?

I have a feeling Bonner is going to show up in the playoffs this year, although RJ/Mason/Bogans is a worry... if we had Salmons it would be cool, but I'd be inclined to play Hairston over Bogans/Mason.

The Magic are my other favorite team but the Spurs needed this win considering there is another mini gauntlet coming up before the playoffs. Great win Spurs!

They should still be really pumped from this win - hopefully it carries over and gives them a ton of confidence against the Lakers. And - the Lakers haven't been too impressive lately. We could take them!

The problem we face in the playoffs is the 3 teams we could face - Fakers, Jazz, Mavs - have all given us fits this year. Who would you rather face?

I was just thinking this exact thing. I think our best bet is to get the 7 seed, whether it be against Dallas or Utah. We avoid the lakers in the first round which gives Tony some time to get back into the game. And I think we stand a better chance against the Lakers before the WCF.

Given the choice I would rather play Utah... The Mavs are one huge matchup problem for us, and the one thing you can count on when its Spurs Vs Mavs: SMALL BALL.

No, Manu has only had a heavy load for the last 15 games or so. As long as he doesn't get injured he can ride this until June.

As for Tony, if he comes back I think he has to be the 6th man. The starters are humming right now, and every time TP has come in this year he's ed the chemistry up. And he should only come back if he's at 90%+ health - a 75% healthy TP is a liability. Whether his ego will allow him to be a role player is the question.

I love TP, but he's been a negative for the team this year.

Agreed - we need a healthy Tony back if we're going anywhere in the playoffs. And this will be Tony's team when Timmy retires.

'He gives good effort and for the most part makes good rotations... but people just score over him. Good effort does not always equal good defense.
