As long as OKC and LA end up on the other side of the playoff bracket, then we can still contend.

Wow. I suddenly hate this team. Sorry guys.
    Bandwagoner.

It's almost as though the Spurs Twin Towers era never happened.

Pop has totally married himself to "small ball" and isn't likely to change.

You can't rely strictly on 3-pt shooting in the playoffs.

It's hard to believe that some four years later, we're still talking about a size deficiency on the Spurs frontline.
Where could he have magically materialised another perfect big for the system from? He's developed a new system working with the talent he's been able to acquire. Also, the game has changed - not many teams win with scores in the low 80s any more, in fact, none do.

Alright, Pop, no tanking that game @LAL in the middle of the back-to-back-to-back. Tank the first or final game but not that one.
Absolutely. Hee needs to take what he's learned in this game and apply it to the next two.

Since we're obviously losing this game, why not let the Duncan-Splitter line-up get some work in?

Monroe_SA Both Dwight Howard and Andrew Bynum have grabbed 25 RB vs. Spurs; NBA season high for both
    Great job Pop

That BS shot by Metta just shows that the Spurs gave the Lakers too much respect tonight.

I don't understand what Pop has to lose playing Tiago and Tim in the 4th. You're down 16 with no sign of making a run to get back into the game. This kind of stubbornness baffles me. If it works out, you're a ing genius. If it doesn't, well you were gonna lose anyway, so no harm done.
Don't worry, he'll pull this secret weapon out when the Spurs are 1 or 2 games from elimination.

Heh... if the Spurs suddenly went 10-10 on 3's they still couldn't win this game.

I am not sure Splitter more minutes would make a difference in a game like this, nights like tonight Bynum looks like the most dominant inside force in the league

maybe we can talk KG into coming to the team next year for the mid level exception and an chance for a few more rings, he and Timmy will probably retire about the same time and he has a toughness that this team obviously lacks on the frontline.
