Astros won't win another game in this series. Just not enough talent to compete with the Doyers.

    Verlander and Keuchel going, bro.

And we know about Kershaw and big games.

Too much to hope for at this point with Kershaw, he hasn't looked shaky all postseason. Meanwhile Keuchel has looked mediocre since G1 of the ALCS.

Them Dodgers are a resilient bunch, but the Astros need to stop trying to hit 5 run homers ever AB. Looking forward to another pitching duel tomorrow night.

It's like the Dodgers switched iden ies with the Astros this game. Dodgers were dinger balling last 2 games while the Astros manufactured, while the Astros dinger balled this game and the Dodgers (finally) made the adjustment in the latter innings and went with the pitches thrown, especially Bellinger. Two beautiful ABs there.

Kershaw is basically an evolved version of Alex Wood, so yeah, if he's on point, it's going to be tough for the Stros, who were flummoxed by Wood all night. I can't count on it after all the horror shows through the years, and that Astros lineup is still frightening.

The Astros outside that predictable thrashing of Darvish have been awful on offense. Like I said earlier, Altuve has been choking massively and Correa hasn't been much better. They've been extremely bad with RISP and seemingly can only score runs off homers. It's been said before but teams that rely on the long ball to win don't do well in the postseason and right now the Astros are trying to do exactly that.

They stung us for 15 hits at Chavez. But I feel you. I was criticizing them in the Yankees series for playing dinger ball during their skid. They reverted to that approach this game.

I knew the Dodgers' pitching performance last night was a fluke, but damn:

There’s no doubt the league juices balls for the playoffs, but maybe now they’ll admit it.

Keuchel continues to look awful. Time to label him a postseason choker too?

Nah, this was a choke by Houston. All the momentum in th world coming into Game 3, and outside a predictable drubbing of Darvish in one inning the Houston offense has turned into a swing fest. While the pitching has been fine outside Giles and now Keuchel, the team as a whole has looked like the moment is way too big for them. Shame too since I'm not confident the Astros can get back to this point anytime soon with the Yankees looking poised to win the next few years.
