Good riddance to TNT. This entire weekend was amateur hour. The 20 minute break to celebrate themselves in the middle of a game was beyond bizarre

Mitc also said this weekend that he should be considered the face of the NBA along with guys like Edwards (did not play), Morant (did not qualify, hoodlum), Flagg (not even an NBA player), and Tatum (made one shot)
Most likely I’ll still watch if we have a player participating and especially two. But I learned my lesson to ever watch it LIVE again that’s for sure!

If a basketball fan can imagine the worst version of the All Star game (and bear in mind..it has been terrible for a few years now), even then that fan couldn't have managed to deliver this terrible a game. TNT ruins it by breaking up the game for such a long time. And then players like Donovan Mitc kill it by just playing trash. What a waste of time and talent.
This was absolute trash. WTF. 2025 just keeps delivering dog every chance it gets.
Of course, if it goes to charity it's tax deductible.
This was bad, I liked that Castle had a chance to be a part but i think his rising stars were kinda trash and didn't belong. I say go back to basics and have the best of the best play a damn game with 4 quarters.
If they make the game determine who has home court in the finals that will get these jackass’s to play! Back in the day the All-Star games were the real deal…..
if they still continue to have a selection show to announce the All-Star selections I will still watch that but as far as the actual All-Star game, no ing way I watch another one.

Was it test ASG ever? I have watched it only because I was bored at work and still felt relieved as soon as it was over.
The format is the only thing that made this thing semi-watchable (aside from the constant breaks).
I prefer this tournament format than a 189-145 game, tbh.

I couldn't since they stopped to even pretend that they care. I had a break from NBA since middle 00s.
The sadder part was the rising stars gave the old farts a much better game than the Wemby team. And I can’t even hardly remember who was on the 4th team except Herro.

The 40 point score was the big up (besides all the TNT/Kevin hart bull ). That said, I think Kevin Hart's dumb about big men being in the paint is reflective of a lot of casualfan's ideas about the game tbh.
There doesn’t actually HAVE to be an All-Star game. If the players don’t care, and they can’t make a format that is watchable, why bother?
Like the All-Star game is this honor that the players feel they are en led to, but they don’t actually appreciate the honor enough to put forth any effort in the game. I’d say it’s very American, but most of the international players act that way too.
Just do away with it.
