The next good officiated Bavetta game will be the first....he couldn't ref a good game if he had too. And he's the one that gave the Mavs the series against Houston last year.

There was actually a chance to come back when the lead was down to 14 with about 7 minutes to go but it wasn't meant to be.
You can pretty much name anything that cost us the game. The funny thing is during that jumpball up. Javie actually said, "We ed up on that one" Somebody please change that rule. If a ref s up, you can't have a jump ball. The game was far beyond the officiating though. We could never take advantage of TD having his way inside. Tony looked gas on almost every play and his score/pass selection needs to improve. Manu sucked again. Nothing whatsoever. No discipline. No defense.
It was a pathetic display on all fronts. Dallas congrats on the win, but you better straddle you asses because a serious pounding will be layed upon you. Spurs take game 3.

The reason for not complaining about the officials isn't the fine. The important thing is that the Spurs sucked tonight, and did more than enough to lose this game, even without the bad calls. Conspiracy theories aside, you can't control the refs, but you can control how you play. The Spurs need to focus on the not sucking part, not the officiating.If a technical foul is worth it, so is a fine. And I already lost count of how many technicals Pop picked up this season because of arguing with the officials.
Why are u guys so bitter? U didn't really think SA was going to sweep Dallas, did u? To be honest, I thought SA got the best of the officiating in game 1. There were a lot of times when Damp and Diop stood their ground and simply kept their hands up. Yet, Timmy drawed the foul everytime. Bowen slapped Dirk's hand far too often. The truth of the matter is...this Dallas team is GOOD. A lot of u posters were claiming that Sacto is better than Dallas. This is not true at all. Dallas is the only team in the West that has a legitimate chance of beating the Spurs. Dallas has outplayed SA so far in the playoffs. They very well could be 2-0 right now on the road. I'm not saying Dallas will win, but they do have the depth, size, defense(believe it or not), definitely offense, rebounding, and speed to pull it out. The question is, can Avery out-coach Pop and will the Spur's experience be too much. We'll see. May the best team win. Go mavs!
