I also had a feeling that Hurley and Miles (after they started hanging out together) would fill each other in on their dead people abilities.
Pretty cheesy way to explain Ben asking Miles "why are you asking for $3.2 million? Why not $3.1 or $3.3?"
I was also wondering when/if they were ever going to get back to the numbers......

^ *Moment of silence to appreciate the greatness that is Evangeline Lilly*
Finally.....FINALLY...a good episode.
That lady is colllllllldddd bloooooodddded.
Daniel's death certainly adds to all the confusion. If he stays alive, there probably wouldn't be a need for another season.
Classic Lost episode. The look in Daniel's eyes as the screen turns to black was truly haunting.
Awesome episode.
This episode was the beginning of the issues that will be dealt with in the season finale.
This episode delivered!!!!!!I read a spoiler prior to viewing, but was still surprised at everything revealed. So Penny & Faraday are brother & sister. His own mother shoots him! WTF? Now we know why the hydrogen bomb is on the island.
Jack & Kate will join The Others?
With everything that's happening @ Dharma, is this is the "war" that Widmore & Ben are referring to?
Jack's character sucks now imo. He gets swayed a different direction every episode nowadays. "We've got to get to the island!"..."We've gotta leave this island"
Could it be because he's being lied to by Ms. Hawkings?
awesome episode.
But I was hoping we were gonna see what Daniel was going through when he was experimenting on himself, maybe see how his mind traveled back and forth like Desmond's, and why Desmond was supposed to be his constant.
Between Daniel and Eko, LOST kills off the best characters![]()
I don't think Daniel dies.![]()
I don't know. It's not exactly a coincidence that Daniel himself explained earlier in the episode that none of them are safe from death like they think.
Daniel is dead.
The camera stayed focus on his face to show the life draining from his eyes. It was excellent acting by Jeremy Davies to be able to go from being alive to appearing to be dead in a matter of seconds without really adjusting his expression.
I think it was out of character how faraday acted at the end, he stormed in to the hostiles camp with a gun and fired, why didn't he just go with his hands up in the air asking for eloise?
I think Daniel is dead, and then he not dead. His mom did shoot him so the present version of him is probably dead but the past version is probably still alive. I think that cause his mom will still probably get pregnant and have him and he will grow up. It does suck that Daniel got killed. I would have picked him as the MVP of Lost this season. Jack has sucked since he got back on the island. He's turned into a pussy. Jack and Kate might be able to save Daniel if they can follow through on his plan. I mean if they follow through on his plan then the plane never crashes and Daniel wouldn't have ever gone to the island.
+1
if Richard saved Ben from a gunshot, I would think a quick trip to the temple should fix things.
It would also make no sense for Eloise to send her son to the island, knowing she would shoot him later, unless she also knew that he would be ok.
I thought that was weird too.
They forced that scene.
maybe all of them join the others
Penny and Daniel are at least half brother/sister........it doesn't really look like Eloise is Penny's mom.
Yea, I think Richard is going to save Daniel.
BEST WRITTEN SHOW ON TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
someone explain to me why a rich dude like Widmore who has everything now would want to go back to the island and live like Gilligan?
UNLESS she knew that shooting him was part of the chain of events that eventually led to HAVING him...

You watched Daniel die. Ben wasn't dead when he went to the temple.
You watched Eloise dress down Charles Widmore, after he talked about his "sacrificing" his relationship with Penny. "Don't talk to me about sacrifice," she said, after she sent her son back to the island, knowing that he would...
Umm, DIE.
Then when Charles said, "He's my son too," she slapped him.
Your son? Did you raise him, push him, to grow up to be the man he was, knowing that his destiny was to die at your own hand? Don't talk to me about how 'he's your son too' you bas !
You watched Daniel as the life slipped from his eyes. "You knew! You sent me back, knowing all along..."
That you would kill me.
How much more obvious could they make it?
then why would she want to have him in the first place, knowing that she would shoot him later?
so "dead is dead"?
