What's ironic is how Spurs fans find ways to rationalize losing a lead besides giving players on the other team credit.

Can't say something like, "Wow, Nash is playing great."

No, you'd rather blame it on the refs, Oberto, small ball, Elson, Pop, Tony's head... etc. etc. etc.
Spurs beat themselves, they don't get beat.

Can't watch the game but see that we only have 6 assists to Nash's 9. Are we passing the ball around or not?

No. It's either throw it in to Timmy or the Tony Parker dribble express.

What's ironic is Ron thinking all Spurs fans act and think alike when there have been people here crediting the Suns and blaming the Spurs for there own woes.

Nah, I blame it on the Spurs playing like for a quarter. Too bad for you that this is a series.

THAT was a really, really ty 2nd qtr.

Spurs can have this game, but they don't seem to want it as bad as the Suns.

Just stop it right now. I live in AZ and no one here will give the Spurs ANY credit for game 1. ........'if only Nash had been in the game

we have to be in attack mode and force the refs to call fouls instead of giving up and pleading for calls. keep attacking and eventually a foul will be called.
The refs are going to give the calls to the team that is being more aggressive and wants it more.

What way Manny? Suns went on a 7-0 run, almost all points in the paint, to start the second with Hoberto in there at center and Finley at "PF".

We took a timeout, and he doesn't even come back with Horry or TD, leaves Oberto out there, and the Suns push it out to a 13-2 run to start the quarter before Pop finally brings back Tim and Horry.

That was ing stupid and Pop deserves called out for it.
Something about hindsight being 20-20... he tried a small lineup and didn't get production. Finley, Manu, TP, Elson... all missed easy shots and a few people got TOs. Big deal, not every move will work out. Now it's time to adjust and hope guys start making shots and playing smarter.

Tony cant penetrate right now, and Manu still is passive.

I wish Duncan could play 48 minutes, but that aint gonna happen. Someone has to step up.

Suns have played well and did a better job in the 2nd at trying to force the tempo and get out on the break. I still think the Spurs have missed a ton of gimmes -- particularly in the 2nd (Elson's dunk?!??!) -- and that the Suns shot a high percentage in the 2nd to offset their early struggles. Add on a sub 50% effort at the line and 10 turnovers (many unforced) and you have the difference in the game.

I think he left Duncan on the bench too long. This isn't the regular season anymore and there's no more back to back excuses. This is the playoffs now and there's no need to be treating Duncan like he's Shaq limiting his minutes.
