Few cringeworthy defensive sequences involving Bonner (lack of rebounding, fouling, poor transition D)... but ok.

I don't even want to talk about Bonner. But, yeah. If the Rockets had cut the lead to 6-8 at the end, they could have carried it into their next matchup. You don't want to give a team reason to believe. That first matchup was just a bad game by the Spurs, and it was razor close. This game they played well and blew them out. That's the image you want to leave Houston with.

Spurs win 121-103. And have won about 10,564 straight games at home.

29 in a row and 44 of the last 47.

We are now 29-6 this season, which ties the best start in franchise history through 35 games (also 29-6 in 2010-11). #GoSpursGo
Despite having the same start as the 2011 squad, this Spur team looks much better. Especially on defense.

We shall see. I would frankly be surprised. I suspect Pop was just rolling with the hot hands.

    Really?

Come on man, everybody sucking this team like never seen before...

You never saw the Spurs do something more impressive for instance?
No... I've never seen any team start a season like this. I've seen the Spurs have great games but the totality of what they are doing is pretty intense and intimidating.

Blake is better than Aldridge. But it's not a slight on LMA at all. Blake is the best PF in the league imho.

I think that's pretty fair. But Aldridge is exactly what the Spurs need right now. He's buying into the system. Lots of teams have All-Star players, but aren't threatening to win it all.

I know, I love blake and consider him the #1 pf in general, but i give the nod to aldridge defensively. imo they arethe two best pf in the game and have been for about three years...

Rockets in danger of being passed by the Kings or Pelicans who have a much easier remaining schedule. (Jazz not losing ground despite playing without Gobert/Favors/Burks)

Were you watching the same game? Simmons came out sucking. When he did something good, he got good comments.

Your problem is that you've been listening to that homer Sean Elliott too much.

I'm upset at pop for acting like boban was not in gym. Unbelievable.
Tbh, we would have kept them below 100 and won by more if Pop had played him like has been the last few games, IMHO.
Yea I agree. Though I understand Pop is very slow to incorporate Boban bc the big rotation is full. You can't sit LMA/Diaw/West, they are all scoring and passing and doing so much for us and were playing so well. You could sit Tim... and Pop did but that was only bc Tim was having a bad game, not really to sub Boban in. I guess that was my disappointment, I wanted to see Boban outside of garbage time a few minutes. We won the game, so Pop was correct with what he did.

I also wanted to see Slow-Mo outside of garbage time, and maybe that is just me, but he had played some good games and on the opposite end, Simmons is only showing up for garbage time. Not just this game, but against the T-wolves, only 2 mins, got blocked twice. Messina played Kyle that game. Pop didn't give him a chance until it was garbage time. Kind of disappointed about that... but what can you do?

Draymond Green just went ape- crazy in that first quarter. GS scored 37 and Green had 18 of them.

He played 2 minutes in the first half....... he passed up some shots that id like him to take but otherwise he played great. She was still trying to on him even when he started playing well and getting more involved when the stars left the court.... just a way she can backdoor her agenda, tbh.

Yeah that 2011 team was all fool's gold while this current roster can still get better. Pretty exciting to think about.

Pretty true, but that assessment is such an unbelievable paradox with Tony not playing well, Timmy going o-fer, and Manu having pretty minimal impact. That would have been impossible for so many years that it seems almost like heresy to say it. Say o to the future, Spurs fans.

They got 3 guys who can go ape on any given night in any given quarter it seems.
