Like I said this team has many weaknessesThe addition of Pau, Lee and Dedmon were nice but didn't solve the guard rotation, a legit SF back up. Doesn't help that LMA is proving 2 seasons in a row why he's a loser.
Well the good thing is that we only have 4 more years left of Parker. The bad thing is that Ginobli will keep playing until he loses a limb because the organization just refuses to tell him "NO"

Spurs don't have the firepower to keep up. Dubs can get a layup drill. Spurs also gave up a ton of open 3's to Cleveland, Cleveland just managed to shoot the worst downtown percentage of the season.
This game is as disheartening as when the Spurs lost 87-92 last year. Warriors can beat us at our own game. They have role players who can go off, we don't. It is just way too easy to take the Spurs out of their offense. It's a game of runs, but the Warriors were on one big run the second quarter onward.
If you add Durant, it'll be Warriors in 5, assuming Spurs can get that far.
Simmons had his best game of the year in the opener but doesn't play tonight?
Our rotations are so low. Dedmond needs to play more, but needs to provide something here and there on offense. Have to hope that Pop hasn't showed them anything defensively if they meet in the playoffs.
Dworst killed the Spurs

manu played a decent game, parker needs a month off
This team needs a serious upgrade at the PG position if they really want to be contenders.
Draymond wouldn't be as useful on the spurs becuase he's not going to be able to get away with moving screens and flopping as he does now. The same way david west was allowed to use his hands on defense and set illegal screens this season, the league didn't allow him to do that last year. If Draymond went to another team, he'd be a non factor. His preferential treatment would just go to whomever takes his spot.
Would have rather seen more Simmons and Dedmon than Gasolina and Parker.
Glorified practice for the guys... film to look at. Stuff to improve.
I did want Kawhi to play a great game. He wasn't favored for the MVP anyways, but a good game here could have improved his chances.
Meh, if Durant plays at least Kawhi can check him, let DG check klay and let curry get his. When durant plays, he's gonna take minutes and shots from open role players etc.
The last 2 years have been really so bad though, Cleveland is a perfect match-up for the Spurs but we can't get out of the West.
lol fat boy
No ing way Green would follow the money out of GS to go anywhere. He's merely a contributor on any other team. You can't overestimate how much his game is lifted by all the firepower that surrounds him. A fact that he is well aware of.
Plus,
he himself is made better by playing with HoF level talent. That's just the truth.
And yall really don't know why no one wants to come here and play. You've got to be past your prime and playing like dog to get heavy minutes and freedom on this team
Pretty much this. I have said the same thing for a while now. It's amazing how much love Draymond gets in here considering he had a game tonight 4 points and 7 turnovers. Dray was not the reason why the Spurs lost this game.
Yeah, I'm not confident in the Spurs getting to the WCF. While Houston doesn't worry me that much, having to play them after getting roughed up by Memphis (and who knows, Grizz might destroy the Spurs' offense to the point they can put together enough points to win four games) could be too much.
Spurstalk (after 2014 championship): "Parker needs to shoot less."
...Parker shoots less every season thereafter, Spurs don't make it past the second round.
No, more like Simmons is playing like complete trash right now. Anderson was the better play tonight.
How's that asshole feeling?
Parker is still here. Maybe that's the problem
I am not a Tony hater, but I am also not an apologist.
He's not earning his![]()
