The free throw misses are when it all went down hill for Manu. I mean, I used to rate him as THE guy that I would choose if I wanted anyone in NBA history to shoot free throws with the game on the line. He was that ice cold with those pressure free throws. I think people just get frustrated when he misses them, because it's a reminder that his game has gone down. It actually hurts me to see him miss them because I know he's mad as heck at himself for doing it.

Next season, there will be more matchups that count. The Spurs will not have the second best record in the league next season. More reasons not to overpay Patty. Basically, the Spurs need to reload with guys who can put the ball in the hole when it counts.
