So his bail out is to talk about guns that are basically already banned. Surely the media will press that nonsense.

NZ is just another blueprint country for Dems tbh. Big government making swift and decisive action to oppress citizens.

    "Muh cons ution is outdated."
Republicans have done more of that over the past two decades than Dems.

    - Patriot Act (an unprecedented policy of trampling on citizen's rights. You know that recent meme of the kid basically getting molested by airport security? Thank the Patriot Act).
    - Iraq War
    - Corporate bailouts

Early days. The foundation is being solidified.

But yes a country arresting people for sharing a video or banning sites is terrifying. The UK arresting people for jokes online is terrifying. But of course we should ignore oppressive government actions until the overall feeling about a country meets your arbitrary standard of cluster .

Always very convenient to *predict* a country is headed towards cluster ery when you can't show that it's actually a cluster .

    Those things are bad.

Terrifying? Not really. You're still in control of what you post online, so unless you have some kind of internet tourettes syndrome where you can't control your racism, you probably have nothing to worry about.

Terrifying is citizens getting deported, and police killing the unarmed without repercussions. That's terrifying. You'll downplay those things, of course. You don't have to worry about it happening to you, and in fact, you blame the victims. Naturally someone like you is going to be more afraid of being arrested for posting a racist rant than you're afraid of being shot by a police officer during a routine traffic stop. That's white privilege (trigger warning!)

And yet, despite all of this, there's no bigger scaredy pussy on this site than you, Nathan. You've managed to somehow turn your white conservativeness into oppression. It's a weird fantasy, but I suppose people like being whipped during sex too.

Yeah, big government infringing on free speech is far more terrifying than isolated incidents that nobody suppprts. Incidents which are statistically debatable in relevance. Also thanks for tying free speech to racism.

The is wrong with you? Infringing on free speech doesn't become less terrifying because you are capable following the arbitrary rules that government has set for you.

Happened in 2008 Dude got 350k....next...

Oh look a 10 year old article: "Yet in 2007, the 31-year-old Los Angeles native — in jail for a misdemeanor, mentally ill and never able to read or write — signed a waiver agreeing to leave the country without a hearing and was deported to Mexico as an illegal immigrant." Yeah things are pretty ed up in California, especially Los Angeles. That Sanctuary State thingy doesn't complicate things I'm sure. Oh look:

"It is illegal to deport U.S. citizens or detain them for immigration violations. Yet citizens still end up in detention because the system is overwhelmed, acknowledged Victor Cerda, who left Immigration and Customs Enforcement in 2005 after overseeing the system. The number of detentions overall is expected to rise by about 17 percent this year to more than 400,000, putting a severe strain on the enforcement network and legal system."

I wonder WHY the system is overwhelmed??? HMMMM?????

    Next...

Flagged for deportation; didn't get deported.

    Next...

    Nice try got.

    Next...

"The process of proving citizenship can be complex since a foreign-born baby can inherit U.S. citizenship though a citizen mother or father - as is the case with U.S. Sens. John McCain, R-Arizona, and Ted Cruz, R-Texas. A minor child whose parents naturalize also earns citizenship status. But specific requirements can vary depending on a person's birth year, parents' marital status and other factors."

Also these people choose not to have an attorney, so I'm not surprised some are wrongfully targeted considering all the loopholes and lack of paperwork. All the more reason to build a wall and strengthen our checkpoints/ports of entry. This article says they have been "targeted", but not necessarily deported.

    Next...

"The government says it is doing what it has always done: Prosecuting cases of fraud among 21.2 million naturalized citizens, from people suspected of war crimes or terrorism to those in phony marriages or with false iden ies."

Looks like she tried to cheat the system and got caught.
