they are hard to come by. But if the Spurs take on salary and send out a 2nd round pick, I think fetching a first rounder might work

Still! That’s a great deal and no need to spend if you dont have too. And with all their wings Joe is out of the rotation anyways
I'd assume they'd trade the 2023 pick if any. Not trading that many seconds to eat salary just for that.
