I dont speak for anyone but myself, but please Pistons fans, dont post in a Spurs Game Thread during the game. I completely agreed with all Pistons fans post, but I dont think the Spurs fans need anymore piling on when their are enough Mavs fans lurking to do it already.
Anyway,
Im sorry Spurs, this game just proved to me that TP is more AI than even a Chris Paul. Its all well and good that he can drive the lane at will and get good chances around the basket, but involving your teammates as a PG is more important to me. Not the guy I want.
Manu Ginobli. Where the **** are you? I have read as many excuses for TP and Manu as I can handle. Rip is hurt, his shot is goofy and completely off, yet he still managed 17 points on 1-7 shooting. If Manu is hurt, then he needs to find another way to score, whether it be at the line, on the perimeter or going to the basket. If he cant do one of these 3 things, then he shouldnt be starting, maybe not even playing.
Your backcourt is why you lost, IMO.
Bowen > Dirk. Good day sir.
TD ing owns.
Horry/Nazr/whatever-center-was-put-out-there were completely dominated.
-------------------
The refs sucked. The refs were bias. I cant argue. Some calls that were vehemently argued were actually fair calls, but seriously, that was the ugliest display of officiating I have seen since 05.
But the refs dont score points. Losing by 20+ has nothing to do with refs. Thats an ass-kicking with an assist to officiating. Without all the bad calls, you still lose by 10 or more. Would that make you feel better? I think not.
Spurs were outplayed severly. Im sorry.
But its one game. This series was SUPPOSED to be like this. Whomever wins is going to the Finals. To think it was going anything less than 6 games would be ignorant. I still hope the Spurs pull it out (which I think they will, cant play that ty forever).
