24/7 mentioned he is looking to visit soon.
It appears this offer has Coach Yurcich's fingerprints on it.
Oh so it's a lateral move for Tech
There's no doubt season tickets will be sold out there for the first few years and maybe beyond.
He arrives like a conquering hero -- like Julius Caesar.
Who? I’d like someone from a school with some production. This doesn’t sound good. Would rather have Washington than him.
Here is a good article about Valai.... https://rutgers.rivals.com/news/meet...-new-cbs-coach
I though the same thing, but I did some searching on him.
1. he is a DFW guy from Euless.
2. He has been in Kansas City Chiefs organization and Georgia Bull dogs
3. He is young and probably understands the kids mind better than an old guy does.
4. Pass defense is where Ash made his living and this guy has been around ash for 10 years
I'm willing to give the guy a chance before I poop on the hire.
Side note, I found this in the Rivals article posted above, now I really like this guy.
Back at the college level, Valai is back recruiting, including in his home state of Texas. As mentioned, the Euless native helped trained high school and professional athletes after he days at Wisconsin and helped found the company Grindhouse Sports Training near Dallas.

good points. Lot of people will get hung up on the name Rutgers and be turned off immediately. Gotta look deeper, under the hood.
Per OrangeBloods, Coach Washington will not be retained, and they agree that Jay Valai from Rutgers is the likely replacement.
Haven't had this problem in a while but I can't see this tweet?
Sanders deleted the tweet, but here is the new one.
Please take him or Lincoln Riley
Just an FYI for those wondering...if you see a blank post, that usually means the tweet was deleted from that account and it's no longer visible.
I'm less concerned about Riley than Joe Brady, I'm more than happy to see him go back to the NFL. I think with what we have coming back we can beat blowu, but beating LSU next year, is going to be a feat.
I’m not saying we beat LSU next year; there is certainly a lot tbd about the Horns next year. But I don’t think LSU is going to be as dominant without Burrow. He was lights out this year.
I haven't seen anything in the last few games that leads me to believe that there is going to be a huge drop off from Burrow. I watched their backup step in during the aggy and blowu games and cut both teams to pieces. That tells me it's a combination of the system and their athletes. LSU is always going to have the athletes, but hopefully the system can go away.
