Shut down Tony and this is what you get on offense... Manu out of control and Neal who can not run the offense
Except they didn't shut down Tony?

Hmmm, no idea what to expect in the second half. Spurs still within striking distance, but playing poorly so far. The worst part for me is Danny Green wilting in the moment.

Looks like the Thunder are taking this away. They seem to be fully inspired to win this one. The bigs in the second lineup have been the culprit for us this game. Can't criticise them much, but Splitter and Bonner have come up short - the former on transition defense and overall IQ this game and the latter as usual choking on offense in a tight playoff game. Neal hasn't been good either - both defensively or offensively.

Manu, SJax and TP are keeping us in the game. Duncan has to do far better. If they tighten things up in the 3rd quarter, the Spurs have a chance, but I feel it is going to be remote this game.

So the Spurs just abandon the pick and roll, and they instead go with doses of Matt Bonner at 2 guard, Gary Neal on James Harden (which worked great in game 2), now he's bringing in someone off the bench who hasn't played in the playoffs, but it's not Blair, who owns the Thunder, no, it's James Anderson. Insane.

Thank god that crappy half is over. Spurs played just about as bad as they could, and we're only down 13. If they focus and come out slugging in the 3rd quarter, they can turn this game around - I believe!!!!

    I hope that's sarcasm because that's stupid.

First time I am considering the thought of Blair playing.
There's no ball movement anyways. Might as well play Blair. Better than having Bonner wait in the corner doing nothing for 20 minutes.

Yeah I am pissed to but only down 13 I still feel good. Parker needs to be the man and take it to Westbrook and Duncan needs to stop doing so much one on one....I know guys are scarred of turning the ball over but they need to get over it and pass it and play the ing game the way we can.

OKC not playing all that much better than we saw the other day. The Spurs play has taken a huge nose dive though.

I just don't understand why they stopped going to what was working. Duncan must have gotten 7 or 8 post ups. I don't understand that.

Pop throws in the towel midway through the 3rd probably

I could tell he wasn't serious about winning this game when he didnt call a timeout on a thunder run in the 2nd, kept Neal in, had Manu defend Durant, and ran 4down on consecutive plays.

    Old man wants his loss

Stop turning the ball over = better offense and worse thunder offense since they can't get tons of fast breaks anymore.

Game turns around unless refs interject.

You don't think there's a part of Pop that wants to lose this game?
If his subs utions are any indicator, then yeah. Nobody but nobody is so stupid that they want an extra playoff game.

This ain't the Clips so it's going to be difficult to get back in. But it's possible as long as the offense gets back to the pick-and-roll sets and the ballmovement. Duncan in the low block is not the answer.

Bonner can't play in the second half. He doesn't have a huge role but it's impossible for the Spurs to gain traction when he plays so scared.

Defensively, gotta get back on defense and force them to run plays. No fouls and no transition buckets.

I know Spurs fans are overconfident to the nth degree right now but this would become a damn dangerous series even with one loss.

    P.S.

Splitter, if you can't do anything against Derek Fisher defending you, that could be a fatal NBA flaw. If teams figure out they can just switch anyone off on him, that would be pretty damn detrimental going forward.

    P.P.S.

Parker more aggressive. Ginobili less careless. Duncan set more screens.

I really really want to know what Bonners' problem is. Aside from Lebron's nuts shriveling up like a grape dries, Bonner is legitimately the biggest pussy in the league. With the exception of a tough rebound he got, he has done nothing but this team with his inep ude. Just don't play him Pop, he ain't gonna do . I hate Blair and his game, but somehow he knows how to play better vs the Thunder. Give Blair three minutes and see how he does.

Spurs will lose this series if Bonner continues to be our 4th big. Put Mills in at "stretch 4" and I guarantee he does more.

    13-4 TO's
    43-35 FG attempts

Take care of the ball and rebound.

    Motion on offense!
