You may very well be right. Certainly history suggests you are. But that is sort of the way the NBA works. Tony's deal is fair for his market value at the time of the extension, so if he's struggling at the end of the contract, that's the risk the Spurs must pay to keep him in the present.

Ditto. I did not watch one minute of that game today.
I missed the game. It looks like I didn't miss anything either, just OKC giving the Spurs a little payback for the WCF loss last year. I was hoping the Spurs would win it though. The Thunder always play the Spurs better in the regular season and when the playoffs start it's a different tune. Spurs better play them better next time and win.
