For seeding it could matter later, this and every loss like this one this year. They could be in the 5th seed right now but keep giving away games like this to keep sliding back to 7th. If they are in the third round of course nobody will care about this game here, that is if they make it that far first. I agree but dude has had some great games in big series in the playoffs to lead to a le or near one (The 013 missed FT I know but he did so much those last two games to help the team when hardly anyone but Tim showed) that prove he is not a choker all the time. He can choke at the line yes, but dude comes up HUGE in some big games.

Who said anything about the number 1 seed? It's common sense that you have to win games to move up in standings. Especially against scrub teams like the Knicks. Everyone knows seeding matters. The Spurs need to be aiming for the 4th seed. God, you're a ty poster.

One loss against the Knicks isn't the end of the world. In fact, Spurs have been dropping games to NYK for a while now. They're like 4-5 against them in the past five years. The team played a game and Pop's awful rotations didn't make matters any easier. Splitter was the only one that showed up it seems.
The Knicks starters all had some flukey good performances too - Amundson's career night on the boards, Bargs looking like Dirk out there, D-Leaguer Galloway outplaying Parker, Shved having a Manu-esque performance. Weird all around. Guess you have to expect the best from your opponents if you're the champs but these guys aren't that good.
Three point shooting has been a concern for the team all year. We're incredibly reliant on Green to carry us in that area. We look near unbeatable when he has a great shooting night and pretty awful when he doesn't. Leonard too. When he struggles, the team struggles. Hopefully, these two get it going come playoff time. When they're both on, we're a destructive force. Just gotta hope Parker's heroball doesn't get in the way.

Thanks my friend. I'm 8-2 as a game thread starter, but only 1-2 in the last 3 games. I think I should let someone else have their turn with the game thread. Though I'll be happy to add a Melissa shot or two when its up.
