So that dude who was posting racist at recruits while pretending to be a longhorn fan probably wishes he wouldn't have done that. I've seen a lot of stupid people on the Internet but that dude may be tops.
Wait... what happened to him? Who? What? Had not heard about this until right now.

He then went on to threat Blacklab (the owner of Shaggy) with a lawsuit, which resulted in this.

OL Stephan Zabie of Austin Westlake looking for a UT offer (24/7):

“It (the UT spring game) was fun,” Zabie said. “I had a good time. I went with some teammates, so it was great. But they got rained out in the second half, so that was kind of a blow. We ended up just chilling in the lounge.”

“Shane (Buechele) did a good job,” Zabie said. “I think he’s really good for a young quarterback with lots of potential when he gets the offense down. The offense did pretty good seeing how the defense has a lot of talent and the offense is raw with a new system.”

“I would like to think that (UT possibly offering), but I don’t really know,” Zabie said. “I’m not a coach, but they’ve been sending me a lot of love. That’s their deal. I don’t really know. I just got ranked by 247Sports. I hung with some of the best at The Opening camp."

“I got moved up highly in the rankings, so I’m just going to continue my thing. I have a lot of programs coming to see me that I’m excited about. It’s really just the start of my recruitment.”

When Scout last spoke with Nickelberry in December, he told us that Texas was his dream school. Recently, the Longhorns extended a scholarship offer.

“It definitely was big time,” Nickelberry said. “I was very, very happy. I remember as soon as I got offered I called my mom and we started crying with each other.”
While the Texas offer was big to Nickelberry, there are two programs that stand out for the four-star prospect.
“Texas and Florida State” Nickelberry listed as his favorites.

    Per Scout:
Mammoth lineman Chuck Filiaga is one of the biggest offensive tackles in the country and weighed in at a solid 6-foot-6, 335 pounds at The Opening Regional Camp in L.A back in February.

For as big as he is, Filiaga is very well built and has tremendous upside. He's a naturally strong kid who moves around well and plays hard. He's still refining himself as a player in terms of his technique and becoming more comfortable on the offensive side of the ball but there's a reason just about every top program in the country has offered him a scholarship.

Filiaga played his last two seasons at Vista Murrieta (Calif.) and is currently still working out with the team and will finish off the spring semester before transferring to Aledo (Texas) for his senior year.

On the recruiting front Filiaga, spent his Spring Break a month ago checking out, in order, the Oklahoma Sooners, Texas Longhorns, Baylor Bears, Tennessee Volunteers, Auburn Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide. The big lineman gave his thoughts on each program.

    ...........................

Longhorns- "I loved the UT campus and had a great time with Coach Strong. As soon as I walked in the door, the whole staff greeted me and were cracking jokes and made me feel comfortable. Coach Strong is a great guy and I loved what he had to say. He talked about the discipline he wants and expect in the program and how they're building something great there."
    ...........................

He recently moved from CA to Aledo, so we should have a shot here if we push hard.

Texas hosted a number of top recruits for its annual spring game earlier this month.

But one notable name missing from the visitors list was Kennedale outside linebacker Baron Browning. There was a lot of speculation about his absence, but Browning said it simply had to do with family.

“My mom needed me to stay home that weekend,” Browning said. “That kind of shut everything down, so I stayed home. Then I went to watch some film with Coach (Zarnell) Fitch at TCU. I just wanted to pick his brain since I’m going to be playing more Will and last year I played more Sam.

“I talked with Coach (Charlie) Strong and Coach BJ (Brian Jean-Mary). They just told me it was all cool. They understood. They just asked about my family, and family comes first.”

There have been some talks that Browning is really focused on TCU and UCLA at this time. But the five-star prospect made it clear that he is still considering most of the schools in his Top 10, which he released three weeks ago.

And that includes Texas. Browning has a special relationship with head coach Charlie Strong, likes the direction the program is heading in and truly enjoyed his visit to Austin in late February.

“I like the class they got in this year,” Browning said. “I’m looking to see how the team and the defense does this season. Coach Strong stands out to me. He’s the icing on the cake. You don’t find too many coaches that really care about their players and how they do in the classroom.”

Browning said he likes both TCU and Texas because they are in state, but he added that he’s ‘not afraid to go far away from home.’ In fact, his brother played football at Stanford, so Browning is taking closer looks at Alabama, Ohio State, UCLA and others.

The only visit Browning has set for this spring is Ohio State, which will take place at some point in the next month. After that, he plans to really focus on his upcoming decision.

“I definitely want to make it before the season,” Browning said. “I was actually thinking of doing it at The Opening this summer, but I’m not sure if I want to wait that long. I just kind of want to get it over with.”

A five-star recruit, Browning will graduate from Kennedale in December and enroll early.

At 6-foot-3, 230 pounds, Browning is ranked as the No. 2 outside linebacker in the country and No. 3 overall prospect in the state, according to 247Sports Composite.
