    Elon Musk reportedly ordered company-wide layoffs at Twitter

    According to a report from The New York Times,

    Musk is looking to cut jobs by November 1st to avoid paying employees’ stock grants

    Twitter currently has about 7,500 staff members, and as noted by the Times, some managers have been asked to come up with lists of employees to let go.

    The layoffs could occur before November 1st —

    the same day when employees are supposed to receive their stock grants,

    which “typically represent a significant portion” of their pay.

    Advertisers are gonna run like scared rabbits and Twitter could potentially lose billions of dollars every year.

    Musks net worth is not in cash, its in Tesla and SpaceX stock. He will be forced to sell piles of stock every year to make up the shortfall which will continue to drive their stock price down. Tesla is already massively overvalued with a PE OF 70-1 (By comparison Ford and GM are at 6-1)
