You don't think Trump is aware of all the things that have been said about him? , why would RFK, Jr. decide to join his administration if he actually felt that way?
It was a deal to get the votes of his supporters.

He offered the same deal to Harris.

RFK is deluded into thinking he's JFK and will do what he can to get power.

He's not my hero; I'm not sure I'd want him as a neighbor but, goddamn he's dismantling all the liberal/progressive/leftist hobby horses that have been plaguing this country for decades. That's what I like.

You know, when you begin every thought with the presumption Orange Man Bad, you'll never concede the things he may be doing right.

He definitely did Warp Speed right. But he's a criminal piece of who doesn't care about you or anyone else past his family (and only part of his family) and rich/celebrity friends. Don't ever try to take a moral stand in this forum again.

Well, he's got control of MAHA; let's see what he does with it.

How can this be true of a man whose net wealth was almost cut in half by serving in his first term? I don't get the logic...or the leap to making this a moral stand.

Fact remains, there is nothing he's done, so far, in the past two weeks, with which I disagree. It's all great.

The man knows his electorate and he's doing everything he promised. I'm not sure how you contort this into him enriching himself.

Pam Bondi, a former Florida attorney general and a staunch loyalist to President Donald Trump, has been confirmed as U.S. attorney general by the Senate.

In a 54-46 vote on Tuesday, the Senate confirmed Bondi to lead the Justice Department. The vote fell along party lines, with the sole exception of Sen. John Fetterman, D-Penn., joining the Republicans in favor of confirmation.

Another winehole swing and a miss

    13. Have you ever received shares or other financial gifts or compensation from Trump
Media and Technology Group (DJT) or other companies tied to President Trump or his family
    members?
RESPONSE: As part of my confirmation process, I have worked with officials from the
Department of Justice and the Office of Government Ethics to prevent any conflicts of interests
and items that might give rise to the appearance of a conflict of interest during my tenure, should
I be confirmed. As part of that process, I provided itemized lists of assets and sources of income
in my OGE Form 278e. I respectfully incorporate that form here by reference and refer to in
answer to this question. I also consented to an ethics agreement, agreed to resign from positions,
and agreed to divest a number of assets where legally and ethically necessary or appropriate. I
    11
have never received compensation for serving as a board member for Trump Media and
Technology Group. On January 28, 2025, the TMTG board convened without my presence or
participation and awarded all board members—including myself—compensation for past
services provided, including a monetary award and shares. Even though this represented
compensation for past services I had provided, out of an abundance of caution and to avoid any
appearance of any conflict, I did not and will not accept that compensation.
    a. If so, how much were shares worth in U.S. dollars at the time of receipt, and how
much are they worth upon completing this QFR?
RESPONSE: I have never accepted compensation for serving as a board member for
    Trump Media and Technology Group.
    b. When specifically did you receive the most recent shares or other financial gift or
compensation from Trump Media and Technology Group (DJT) or other companies tied
to President Trump or his family members?
RESPONSE: Please see my response to Question 13.a.
    c. Did you speak to President Trump, any other members of his family, or any
persons associated with Trump Media and Technology Group (DJT) prior to receiving
your most recent receipt of shares or other financial compensation from Trump Media
and Technology Group (DJT) or other companies tied to President Trump or his family
    members?
RESPONSE: Please see my response to Question 13.a.
    d. Given the appearance of impropriety of receiving any financial gift or
compensation, including in the form of shares, from a company associated with President
Trump or his family, will you return these shares immediately prior to the Committee’s
    vote on your confirmation?
RESPONSE: Please see my response to Question 13.a.
    e. Will you step down as from the Board of Directors of Trump Media and
Technology Group if confirmed as FBI Director?
    RESPONSE: Yes

Ed Martin is Trump's top Washington US Att'y

Yesterday, as prosecutor, he dismissed the case of a J6 rioter he has been defending.

After the press wrote about it, he filed to withdraw from the case...

bribing foreign governments and corporate corruption is back on the menu, Pam Bondi just made it easier for lobbyists representing foreign countries too

The Justice Department is scaling back enforcement of laws governing foreign lobbying transparency and bribes of foreign officials, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced.

The Criminal Division’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Act unit will prioritize investigations related to foreign bribery that facilitates the criminal operations of cartels and transnational criminal organizations, such as cases that involve bribery of foreign officials to “facilitate human smuggling and the trafficking of narcotics and firearms,” Bondi said in a Wednesday memo obtained by Bloomberg Law.

The FCPA prosecutors shall “shift focus away from investigations and cases that do not have such a connection,” she added.

Separately, Foreign Agents Registration Act enforcement “shall be limited to instances of alleged conduct similar to more traditional espionage by foreign government actors.” The Counterintelligence and Export Control Section, which houses the FARA unit, will “focus on civil enforcement, regulatory initiatives, and public guidance,” the memo said.
Also on Wednesday, Bondi disbanded the National Security Division’s corporate enforcement unit, a high-priority initiative of Biden-era Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, and reassigned team members to their earlier posts.

“Taken together these changes are an invitation to foreign actors to interfere in American affairs,” said Aaron Zelinsky, a former DOJ national security prosecutor. “Even worse, it’s an invitation to Americans to help them do it.”

Washington — The Senate is expected to vote Wednesday on Tulsi Gabbard's confirmation for director of national intelligence, after her nomination survived a crucial committee vote last week and cleared a key procedural hurdle Monday.

Emil Bove is purging people he led and coordinated with in the J6 investigation

In the months after the Jan. 6 attacks, a hard-charging federal prosecutor in Manhattan eagerly oversaw efforts to find and arrest Capitol rioters in the New York area, his former colleagues say, and even proposed to the Justice Department that his office should play a central role in the investigation.

    His name: Emil Bove.

Bove, whose prominence soared when he was one of Donald Trump’s defense lawyers last year, is now the Trump-appointed acting deputy attorney general, essentially the chief operating officer of the Justice Department.

He has been leading an effort to identify everyone who worked on Jan. 6 cases and remedy what Trump called “a grave national injustice” by rooting out “those who acted with corrupt or partisan intent” when they investigated Trump and Capitol rioters.

Some who know Bove have been shocked by the turnabout. On Jan. 6, 2021, Bove was helping lead the counterterrorism section in the U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan when a pro-Trump mob attacked the U.S. Capitol. Over the next several months, he worked closely with FBI agents as they hunted down suspects in the New York area.

Two former colleagues who worked alongside Bove on Jan. 6 cases in New York say they never heard him express qualms about the sprawling Capitol riot criminal investigation, which grew into the largest in American history.

“He treated these cases as a priority,” said Christopher O’Leary, who sat in meetings with Bove as a senior FBI counterterrorism agent. “In my daily interactions with him, there was never any indication of anything other than full-throated support.”

campaign donations are paying off in spades for billionaires -- they're now salting the US government with their cronies

Trumplandia is all in on scammy crypto

US President Donald Trump reportedly plans to select Brian Quintenz — the head of policy for the crypto subsidiary of venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) — as chair of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

Trump’s intention to pick Quintenz as the next head of the CFTC was revealed in a do ent sent by the White House to Capitol Hill, Bloomberg reported on Feb. 12.

If Quintenz is confirmed to head the CFTC, it’s widely expected that he will push for pro-crypto policy moves and establish his agency as the primary regulator for the crypto industry over the Securities and Exchange Commission.
