Suns are lucky Nash's nose hit Parker head and shook his brain up.
Maybe Gino needs to nose-butt Nash to have the same effect.

    That's not reasonable.

But how many things have just rimmed out so far -- and how the *&@#) did Elson miss that dunk? Seriously.
it's only not reasonable because its the Spurs. the Suns have made all their FTs thus far, I believe.

Suns have played well and did a better job in the 2nd at trying to force the tempo and get out on the break. I still think the Spurs have missed a ton of gimmes -- particularly in the 2nd (Elson's dunk?!??!) -- and that the Suns shot a high percentage in the 2nd to offset their early struggles. Add on a sub 50% effort at the line and 10 turnovers (many unforced) and you have the difference in the game.
Agreed. The Spurs relaxed a bit after the 6 pt quarter lead, and the Suns stepped it up a notch. Pop went to a small lineup and it didn't produce like he hoped it would. The Spurs are right in this game, and can take it if they play smarter on both ends.

Ginobili getting sucked in on the Nash baseline drive is exactly the type of mental errors that the Spurs have to fix to win the game.

pffft this coming from a fan base who cried "if not for nash nose" for the past two days.
    Not all of us did...

If not for his nose, though, I think there could have been OT, but there was no way they were stopping Duncan and Finley/Horry hit all the timely 3's.

OK. I just got home. How are they looking? Just going by the score, I'd say not good?
It was 10 until Bruce made a 3 before halftime.

Ok, pal... how about all the sweep comments after Game 1? Yes, this is definitely a series and I hope the Suns can push themselves to make it at least 6 games.
Oooh, it's a "series" because of a halftime lead in Game 2.

Missed FT's, missing open looks, played alot worse than the score shows. Lucky to be down only 7.

It seems you've been misquoted. Change 6 to 5.

Not all Spurs fans are currently blaming the refs either.

    But, that's different, right?

Me too....well eastern time zone....still it sucks....then again..the last time i went to sleep before the game was over was Game 4 against Denver....the Spurs won.
here's hoping me going to bed is the good luck charm the Spurs need.

(actually I don't think they need a good luck charm. they just need to lock them down and not let up till the end.)

Magic needs to regale us with a story about Isaiah sodomizing him.
I thought maybe he would explain the reason behind the 'blood rule' to us.

You would be correct....Phoenix is playing well, the Spurs are not.

you Magic Johnson. If Dirk had all those dribbling moves and court vision than yeah he would have no problem dominating the game like Nash does in the playoffs. Dirk relies a ton on matchups unfortunately.

Damn, Steve Nash has a statue after two years in Phoenix, but David Robinson and George Gervin still don't have that honor in SA. Maybe the Spurs are waiting to commission that statue of Avery Johnson.

I was wondering when a Mav fan would speak up about what Magic said. He kinda trashed Dirk.

But I guess it's OK to say, "if not for Pop's small ball... if not for Tony's headache... if not for the refs... if not for Tony's comments"

I'm not making any excuses - I'm sick of the Suns playing like intimidated little girls against the Spurs and it's time for some fire out there.

There's no "if not for Nash's nose... if only Kurt Thomas played more... if Marion didn't disappear."

No, there's only one headline if the Spurs win this game: "Suns have no balls... Spurs take 2-0 lead"
