Spursfan has short memory and forgets Worriers are a matchup nightmare for us. I might have to agree I don't want to watch them get massacred in the WCF tbqh. What's the use of that?
Too bad OKC is ty and will lose the current series.
He did clarify that he gave them "bulletin board material" to inspire his teammates & to hold himself accountable after what took place in Gm 3 (lazy defense).

You guys are trolling. All this year, ya'll was high and mighty and now you guys are punking out to the Warriors. Christ. Anyway, this series of Spurs and Thunder is going to be tough if westbrook continues to not look for his shot like he should have been all his career.
yep, until somebody step up to humble his arrogant ass and send him and his team on a fishin' trip, you have nothing to do about it..
it is risky approach especially if you come up against proud group with seasoned veterans who have adequate talent to matchup..The Spurs might just be too outmatched to make him pay for the bulletin board material....you don't trash talk to teams like Heatles, 2008-2010 Celtics, mid-2000s Pistons etc..
no signs of your jinx job working on Eliancito ..Dude is unhuman..
better in join the wagon![]()
Love the Jon snow avvy GOT is the best show since the Wire and maybe Breaking Bad ...
Disagree with the bold.
Westbrook needs to be aggressive if they hope to win 2 of 3 in SA (or the next 2)
what he needs to stop is:
limit the careless turnovers ...
Cut the Driving hard to the basket falling down begging for a foul and not even TRYING to get back in transition
The careless gambles for "hero ball" steals
the fake efforts at getting around and over screens ...
The wannabe Steph Curry 3's
Needs to continue ...
Finding Adams/Kanter on pnr
the lobs to roberson and Adams
Calling plays for Durant
Needs to start ...
Choosing his driving spots better. driving when the spurs are in position to rotate over is dumb ...
Protecting the ball when he beats his man or splits the double team ...by crossing over and shortening his dribble. (Basic fundamentals Russ! KL/DG have deflected so many passes from behind.)
Go up strong. soft floaters will not work with KL near ...
He needs to be aggressive to an extent. When he's raging mad, he takes terrible attempts. He loses focus, not thinking about his strengths or iq to score but...just using his to score by throwing up desperation shots. When they aren't falling, he increases volume. He just throws up. That's why he's anti clutch.
Russell needs to develop a proper rhythm by knowing himself and knowing his game. His priority shooting should be 15 foot mid range shots, rare threes, and slashing (on and off ball). Especially in the clutch. When I say, "to not look for his shot", i mean referring to terrible shot selection specifically. Another reason is to distribute to Durant who is much more capable offensively.
The high screen with westbrook is a gut punch. I agree however, I didn't expect anyone to quote me on this.
Inb4 it does work, but in favor of the Thunder lol
But on a serious note, the only thing stopping Eliancito is his ankles.
Should be in the other thread but ...
BUMP
Blazers showing some fight early, and against a far superior opponent. Too bad the Spurs will prolly roll over for OKC tomorrow; Pop wants to get his vacation started.
curry is allowed to throw the ball out of bounds off the ref and it still counts as a pass because it bounced back inbounds to his teammate? lmao! the nba!
Figures Raymond doesn't get a tech there.
It's pretty interesting how the Blazers have had double digit leads in every game after game 1 but can't maintain them. It kind of reminds me of the Spurs in '02 against the Lakers.
Never once has it entered my mind that the Dubs might lose this game, even when they were down 12 or whatever, as soon as Curry hit that short jumper I said "welp, it's over now".
The commentators are as pro Dubs as they were at the height of MJ's Bulls. None of that sympathy for the underdog .
