    good post

I agree on both points. There have been worse wins than this loss in terms of execution and effort. And once you let a team back in it approaching the end of a game or OT, random chance plays more of an effect on the outcome.
I'm not overly perturbed by the loss. Your best player is still recovering from illness probably shouldn't have played,
a guy on their bench shooting .324 from 3 goes 6-7. and you lose in OT on the road. Things like this happen over 82 games.

By the way anybody have a gif of that screen on Manu at the end of regulation?

Just an NBA season loss against a decent squad that got a career game from a bench guy while the Spurs best player wasn't 100% and missed a layup to force 2OT. The viability and quality of the team is no different than if Kawhi makes a 3 and wins the game really. Spurs have had a some "flukish" wins and just got done in by the opposition having a flukish win, it happens.

Would be nice if it would happen to GSW though, 2.5 game lead or whatever it is is nothing yet, but if the Spurs get 3/4 games behind I don't see them having a chance of catching GSW.

    at calling Kawhi a choker.

He is standard Kawhi generally at the end of games, which is pretty spectacular.

It's really amazing to me how much people are influenced and blinded by individual occurrences. Kawhi hit the 3 to tie it in regulation, but because his attack minded shot didn't fall (it rolled around the rim twice) he's shown some "choker" tendencies.

He's made plenty of big shots, went toe-to-toe with perhaps the best player ever in NBA history (Lebron in the finals) and won finals MVP.

    Really choker of him.
Not to mention Kawhi was still suffering from the flu or its aftermath.

At the same time they act like the big 3 never "choked" themselves. Everyone misses big shots. Kawhi has actually been pretty clutch this season.

That last play was chaotic, timing was off, and nobody was setting any effective screens. Frankly, I wish Kawhi had just pulled up for about an 8-footer that was wide open rather than taking it all the way to the hole where things got congested.
Honestly it was a great move but he just didnt have that soft touch to put it in.
