Name one time where Republicans mostly called on someone accused to step down after being accused of some form of sexual assault. After Trump came out in support of Moore, there was a rather deafening silence on the right.

Here's the thing, the polls say it is pretty uniform at this point. I can paint with a pretty broad brush, because it is a widely held belief, and at udes on who to believe is based on party affiliation.

The difference between the parties though is beginning to widen, especially when it comes to this.
Republicans believe the men when it is one of their own, and invariably think the women, all dozens of them, are lying. Trump, Moore, etc.
I have come to simply generally believe the women, no matter who the party of the accused is. Women almost never make up, according to all the data we have.
Personally I think that it says something damning in and of itself that conservatives "go to" is that the women are lying for political purposes. The general way humans think is that we tend to think others thought processes are similar to our own, which would imply that "conservative" and "regard for the truth" is not really a good correlation.
